Egg white as sexual lubricant?

I read this column on saturday
nicolanorton

and it was quite good but the bit about egg white made me laugh. Surely she just misread the fact about cervical mucus being like egg white during ovulation?

No - there are several sites like this one where they recommend using egg white as a lubricant.

I have only one thing to say.

Presumably we're talking about unwhipped egg white. It's surely better than KY. At least it's edible.

I wonder what they do with all the yolks that are left over ...

Know of someone who used marmalade when she had run out of stuff( She would use butter instead, but had run out of that too!)

If it is fast and furious do you end up with a minge-rangue

She;s missed a trick anyway. You can hire a pool for 8 people for £102pw

spidermama · 11/09/2005 20:51

soph. Very good.

Haven't you heard of vestibular salmonella? Very nasty.

but if you whip it so much it becomes so hard and if turn upside down it forms a peak

Report
happymerryberries · 11/09/2005 20:55

Its when you know to stop whipping it!!!

So you nip downstairs, separate an egg, carefully save the yolk, and carry the white upstairs...no, really, it's not that I think all sex should be wild and spontaneous but ffs, you'd surely be off the idea by then. Quite frankly if you didn't need a lubricant before you certainly would after that lot, surely?

Report
jane313 · 11/09/2005 20:57

perhaps you would do it by the fridge in a 9 1/2 weeks sort of way

And you would have to stop and wash the separater as well wouldn't you? And put the yolk in a dish and cover it! Blimey couldn't be arsed myself!

What is wrong with getting enough foreplay ffs?

at minge-rangue and vestibular salmonella. I'd rather have a nice boiled egg than sex anyway (don't drink tea).

happymerryberries · 11/09/2005 20:58

Blimey boiled egg, now that is just kinky

pmsl at this thread! And ewwww too obviously.

QueenOfQuotes · 11/09/2005 21:26

haven't read the link or the rest of the thread, but I guess you have to hope that things don't get too "hot" or you'll end up with cooked egg down there

But egg white gets so sticky. I can't believe it's a good lubricant. I certainly wouldn't put it anywhere near my vestibule.

pmsl at minge-rangue. dh wanted to know what i was laughing at, now he's just shaking his head at me in shock cos I usually tell him off if he uses words like minge.

On a more serious note though, on another site i used to go on people talked about using egg-whites quite a bit. Some swore by it, but many others ended up with nasty infections which then presumably had to be explained to a doctor

I do think a tube of KY could really be a much better idea, if lubricant is required.

spidermama · 11/09/2005 23:26

That's us told then.
