Ha ha ha - it is isn't it!!!

I did change it to champagneforall for New Year - that would have been even better!!!!

Oh well ... we may as well have one more glass of bubbly and some music while we wait for a few people to turn up!

No particular meaning - it is just a fun one to get the party going!!!

Hello!!!

And they said there was no need for a one child family topic - we showed 'em . I assume everyone else is enjoying their one child in the sunshine and will be along later!

Hi MM - nice to see you - You are right - It was a bit of a wobbly start but I think I can safely say I am not the only person who has found help, hope and happiness in this corner of MN. So Lets celebrate!!!

Here... I have made a yummy cocktail for you and furball!!!

It is each of your favourite things in very pretty glasses with ice, an umbrella each as well as really sparkly things to stir it with! Enjoy!!!

A party! How lovely! I've hung up some bunting. And thank you, tea, for the delicious cocktail!

I've had a fabulous day today. I took the sole fruit of my womb to a ballet workshop and then we had a lovely walk in the sunshine in the park. While I was there, it struck me that that is exactly the sort of thing which is easier to arrange with one child, as there's no worry about what the sibling while do while the balletomane is practising her arabesques!

I have just heard this song from my distant youth being used in the trailer for Life on Mars. I'm going to settle down on the sofa and wallow in nostalgia.

Cheers, everyone!

cartwheels.

2nd the easier to arrange life thought. Had a lovely day out with boy while DH cycled a long way and met us for lunch. It didn;t matter that boy changed his mind about swimming and wanted to just ride his bike. no other child to argue with. I was happy to go with the flow and save some money.

lets hang up some more bunting and party on down.

I'm up for a second cocktail - somehow it decided to lose my post after the first !

My only has been standing on top of the climbing frame (soon to be higher ) so that he can look over the fence and call to the twins next door - he wanted to play. Unfortunately they had visitors, so I had to try to stop him shouting at them every 2mins!

Ooh, tea, I once met someone who had played in Toploader.

As I said, it wasn't actually a completely free choice of song - hearing it in the trailer for Life on Mars (BBC cop show set in the 80s) stirred up some old memories.

My only also likes to yodel over the fence to attract the attentions of the boys next door.

Any more of those delicious cocktails left?

Is that red and yellow cocktail a tequila sunrise by any chance?

Report

Might be a rather short sunrise!
