I have (mostly) successfully managed to bring him up for half a decade. Somehow.
It also occurs to me that I am no longer the parent of "a small child", he is just a child now. And he is. All of the attachment parenting stuff I did that seemed to go on forever has finished now.
It's weird isn't it? It's probably totally different if you have more than one since I expect I'd still be very much in the small child mindset now, but the baby and toddler stage being so all consuming and in the blink of an eye it's gone.
