I need to be told off for not doing my homework this xmas as I should have already filled this out . I think its great we get a chance to give feedback and its certainly being managed very professionally and caringly, but I'm brain dead at the moment with enormous lack of sleep and stress!!!

On the whole its a good nursery , but we only get a glimpse on the whole of their practsies. They would like my views on :
Whether the equal opportunities policy is being implemented? ,
Health and safety measures safeguarding children?
Suggestions for future visits out?
Other topics to be explored?

I just need some sounding board to fill it in. HELP

well, is their equal opportunites policy being implemented?
If you don't know what the policy is, find out. If you can't tell from your POV if it's being implemented or not, say something like 'I am not aware of any specific changes that have been made to implement the EO policy but I have no complaints about the EO status of the nursery'.

Ditto health & safety - if you don't know then say you aren't aware of any issues and are happy with the current measures, maybe mention something they do that you like eg 'I find that having to sign my dd in and out gives me a sense of security and reassures me that all possible H&S measures are being taken' OR mention any problems you have eg 'I am aware that the gate needs to be fastened open to allow access for prams but I am concerned that should a child leave the building unnnoticed there is nothing to prevent them running into the road'

Suggestions for future visits out - you have to use your imagination - maybe think of a trip dd particularly enjoyed and ask them to do it again, or extend it eg 'She enjoyed the trip to feed the ducks so much I would suggest more visits involving wildlife or animals, perhaps to a farm or nature reserve'.

Other topics is for anything you particularly like or dislike about the nursery, even random stuff like you don't like the decor, or you do like how smiley the carers are etc etc.

Hope this helps a bit...
