Got flyer home from dd's nursery yesterday saying they will be having pics taken for a hand drawn portrait by this company.
Apparently it's a special offer they do for childcare centres so wondered if anyone else has had one? I had a look at their website to find out prices as flyer doesn't say how much it will cost, and they're about ?100
Do you think they're worth it

It's always dodgy to recommend a company but my friend and I had our sons drawn by them when they came round to Tumbletots about 3 years ago and I've got to say the pictures were excellent and still hang proudly in both our lounges.

They come to wherever and take the childs photo, you don't get to see it, then they send back the finished article, so if you have real favourite photo of your child then it may be worth sending that instead.

From memory I don't think you are obliged to buy if you don't like it and you can pay by direct debit over a period of months to spread the cost without it costing you any more.

Thanks for the reminder on this, as I've now dug out my paperwork to see if it was the same company so I can now get one of ds2 and one of both ds's together, if that's any kind of recommendation but no coming back and shouting at me if you don't like yours

Hope that helps Beks

LOL, Thanks Beks! The offer is non-obligation to buy but even if I hated it I'd feel obliged as I'd feel sorry for the artist having it returned!

Think I'll go for sending my own pic, that was worrying me- not seeing the photo before having it drawn... If it's really bad I can always make you buy it from me for endorsing it.

Weepootleflump, lol I'd be the same to be honest about not being able to send it back but I'm sure you'll love the picture 'cos afterall we all think our kids are the most beautiful in the world don't we

Happy to buy it as having two boys I could do with some girls pictures around just to stop me feeling outnumbered

Just guessing but going by your nickanme I bet we're about the same age and the Flumps was one of my favourites too

Happy shopping!
