Hello, I have an interview tomorrow for the best nursery for miles in my town. It has an excellent ofsted report, 2 awards and only take on qualified staff, so me being unqualified am incredibly lucky to score an interview with them. I only got one as I turned on the charm, told them I'd applied numerous times before and i'm still trying as they're so brilliant so tomorrow is judgement day!

What would seriously impress you guys in a candidate? What sort of things would set one person apart from all the others you would interview? Please give me your best tips and advice and I will be eternally grateful and appreciative!

TIA,
NannyStar xxx

hello, show an interest in the children, you may be asked to work in a room whilst being observed. they will be looking for a genuine caring for children,
ask about health and safety, as you are feel it is vital,,, ask about birth to 3 and the foundation stage and if you can go on any training courses, ask if you can do you nvq 2 or 3 whilst you are there. (if you are under 25 you can get free training)
ask about teamwork - does everyone support each other. ask about staff meetings, planning meetings etc show an interest and enthusiasm for everything.
if you are all these you are the perfect candidate good luck.. let us know how you get on x
