Better to change or stay put? Please help

I am posting this again as I am now agonising over this issue.

DS is going to nursery since he was 1 year old, he is now nearly 2. We moved to a different area nearly 4 months ago and he has never really completely settled in the new nursery. He is mostly happy during the day but cries every day and is apparently sad for about 1 or 2 hours after we leave. After that he has a good day and enjoyes the garden. It can be that the room he is in is not appropriate for him, there are quite a few smaller babies ....but the staff seem a lot less engaged. If I compare it with the older nursery the atmosphere is not quite as happy there.

I think I have found a really good alternative although I am now worried sick about inflicting another big change on the little one, we have moved house and nursery, we are away from all of his old friends, we will soon move house again (we initially rented here) . Shall I change again ? Or shall I wait and see if things get better? He used to love his old nursery and used to start smiling when we were approaching it.

Please help, thanks

From experience, pull him out.

I had a similar aged dd who was very unsettled at nursery.

The day she went somewhere else, I got my little girl back. She slept better, ate better and generally was a happier child. I have few regrets in life, one is not pulling her out 6 months before when I "pondered" what to do like you are now. I should have pulled her far far earlier.
