So we looked around all our local nurseries and it came down to two, our decision was swayed because of cost.
The nursery we have gone with allow me to choose the days for my DS, I work a 4 week rolling rota so works perfectly, one week he's in on a Friday the next a Monday ect. This is the only nursery locally that allows you to do this.
They are quite relaxed about pickup and drop offs, as long as they are picked up before 6pm (closing time) otherwise we get charged per 15 mins. So when it was snowing I saw someone collect there DS with a sledge.
They have webcams for each room that for an additional fee you can access and watch your child, we don't want the access as it is blocked in both mine and my partners work.
All the above points seem great to me and makes it seem like a fab nursery, BUT there was no waiting list, it is quiet (in the baby room at least). Am I worrying excessively or do any of the above points seem strange?
He is currently having a settling in period and I am a worry, I think I just need some reassurance please?
He is 8 months
