Hi
Does anyone send there child to Blue Butterflies Montessori in Pinner?
If you do please can you share with me if you are happy with the nursery. Or if your child attends another montessori any feedback would be great.
thanks

Hi

I have a friend who has had their child at BLue Butterfly since it opened but has recently removed their child. They loved it to start with but almost the entire original staff team have left and so apparently the nursery just isn't the same. It's beautiful.... But it's only been open a year.... This isn't a good sign.

I visited a Montessori last year in west London and was dismayed to see children walking around crying and calling for mummy. There were not enough staff around at the time to deal with them and the staff member showing me around did not even approach them to comfort them. Needless to say the nursery I decided to send my child to was nothing like this and no child is left to cry.

I understand this was just a snapshot but it stuck with me.

I recently visited to see if there were any changes, as my friend had given me such good reviews last last year. But found the same... Children crying and not comforted in the baby unit, while others were being bounced in bouncers to sleep. The older class room was pleasant and very montessori.... But overall my impression was that there was lots of children and very little space.

There was also a man in office who was introduced to me but had let me through the front door.???

Sorry the man was NOT introduced to me and was NOT on the staff picture board either. May be he was a parent?

I agree, I heard children crying and also was told a toddler was found on the street one day who had snuck out. (and that street gets very busy with traffic). Just scary. It was a very noisy/loud playground with children screaming at the tops of their lungs and crying also. I'm not sure how the surrounding houses cope and am glad it is not near where I live.

Hi,

I visit blue bird Montessori a few weeks ago as I'm looking for a Montessori for my 2 year old, the toddler room seems nice and all children were with a nursery teacher at the time, however after reading these post, I'm not very concerned. Is there any where I could find out more about the toddler who snuck out?

Does anyone send there child there now? Any other recommendations for nursery?

Thanks
