would sessions at 2 nurseries confuse ds?

Just moved and am looking for new nursery. Was totally spoilt with old nusery - it was brilliant. One nursery can do 2 days with places for 5 coming up in June. Another can do another 2 days? should I go to one and wait for the 5 days to come up or mix and match to get 4 days straight away. I don't have any strong feelings either way with either of them.

I would suggest going for the one which can increase to 5 days in June.

How old is ds? 2 of mine went to both playgroup and nursery school but that was at 3-4.

are you working full time or part time. How flexible are your arrnagements. EPrsonally I'd go fro the one which can increase mainly from the logistical, consistent approach and being able to suss out what is going on and who is who pov.

My DD goes to 2 nurseries, one 2 for 2 2.5 hr sessions and the other for 3. This is because one takes children from 2 not 3, and she was ready for some time without me from 2, and I love the second nursery as DS went there. Going to 2 different nurseries hasn't been a problem for DD, she and I love both settings, and she has a wider circle of friends and adults as a result. Hope you solve your dilemma soon. Smile

ds is just over 2. the one that can increase in June is almost twice the price of all the otehr ones. There are only 3 to choose from until he's 3. its a pia! But I spose its me that is analysing all the facilities etc - he won't care - he just wants to play.
