Hi, does anyone have a child who goes here and if so what is your opinion if the nursery?

What age is your child? My DS used to go there. It has some good staff, good equipment, and is fine if you need day care. Less than impressive on the record keeping/understanding of key milestones/development areas of the children.

Hi she will be one years old when she starts. How recently was your child there? If I specified that I wanted daily reporting etc. would they be more proactive do you think about this?

thanks for the information

He was there for a couple of years but not full time. Daily reporting started off well and would be at your DD's age. The interest in development is lacking, not the day to day care. I think this might be the case in many private nurseries offering a similar set up.

Hey, I am planning to take my son to Boys and Girls when he turns 3. I was really impressed with how well run the whole operation is and how lovely the staff were. But do the kids learn?

This is a good nursery - the resources are brilliant and staff genuinely care about the children - unlike some other nurseries. The children have folders which are updated every month with photographs, artwork and observations and linked to the EYFS to keep track of milestones. They also have daily sheets which you take home with you which record sleep times, food intake, milk and water intake, as well as activities they've enjoyed throughout the day. I'm not sure what more people would expect from a nursery?!
