settling ds1 at nursery but have to take ds2 with me

I was hoping someone might have experience of this. Ds1 (aged 3.5) starts tomorrow at the nursery attached to what will hopefully be his first school. He has to go in for a half hour settling in visit. Problem is I have no-one to watch ds2 (aged 1.5) so will have to take him with me while trying to get ds1 get used to the nursery.

When ds1 started at his playgroup ds2 was much younger and slept through most of the settling in visits, but now he is unlikely to sit quietly anywhere.

I'm optimistic that ds1 will settle in fairly easily but I'm not sure how the staff will be about brining ds2 as well, does anyone have any tips or suggestions. TIA

Saadia, settled dd into playgroup last week and ds (12 months and very mobile) had a ball playing with everything. did have to run round a lot after him though! expect the nursery are used to youner siblings coming along - the playgroup certainly were. good luck.
