Children's belongings in nursery?

DD is starting nursery next week and I was just wondering about her "stuff" - do I need to label it all? If so, with what?
Anyone got any idea?

i just use indelible marker pens and write their names on the clothes labels etc. it's quick and easy.

def label everything - i use black marker on labels and refresh if and when necessary. dont forget to label lunch box cos there are loads the same, also shoes (especially pe pumps if she has them). check with nursery if they allow toys to be taken in cos some do, some dont.
