Just being nosy and living vicariously seeing as I barely gett o go to any now.

Mine are

  1. Frank Black & The Catholics-Sheperds bush 2003. Just amazing and energetic, was their last ever gig.

2.Pixies, Brixton 2004- first gig in uk after reunion, was great even though I was pished by the time they came on Grin.

3.Dresden dolls,la scala- was spine tinglingly, hair on the back of your neck raisingly gorgeous.

4.Placebo, Leeds Uni- was like seeing them in a school hall funnily enough (well it kind of was) marvellous.

  1. System of a down, astoria- we managed to leg it upstairs and get the seats right in front of the stage, they were amazing, was a fun night all round.

Would have loved to put in radiohead, but think we managed to catch them in "lets play all the obtuse obscure shit"mode :(

Pop Will Eat Itself - the marquee, one of the singers had injured himself climbing rigging at a previous gig and performed in a wheelchair with a megaphone

Grin

That has made me laugh! Used to really like them.

  1. The Stone Roses - 1994 at the very last Feile trip to Tipp festival, think it was one of their last concerts too they spilt shortly after if I remember rightly

  1. Oasis 1996 in Cork, was the same day as my leaving cert results came out, I remember very little as a lot of cider had been consumed but I do remember the bootleg Beatles supported them and they were brilliant

  1. Morrissey 2009 in Vicar Street, he was amazing, hope to get to see him again soon this year or next if he makes it as far as Ireland

  1. Leonard Cohen in Marchivech house in Sligo a few years ago, just amazing, the most beautiful concert I've ever been too.

  1. REM in Slane Castle 1995

Thatbloodywoman am very envious of your list particularly The Smiths, what I wouldn't give to have seen them live

The cure at the royal Albert hall 2011( I think) they did the first 3 albums in full each with the original band members then a set of all the greats .
Radiohead at Blackpool winter gardens in about 2001. I had to buy tickets from eBay as they sold out very quickly. I ditched dh and pushed to the front
Peter Murphy at rebellion punk festival 2013 - tiny, intimate gig but so atmospheric. Took me right back to my 80s goth days
Muse at old Trafford danced all night and plug in baby was just amazing
Placebo at Manchester Apollo 2013. Took dd and was great to see her dancing band singing along. My job as a parent is done!
I love live music
