We've been asked by the team at the charity Birthrights to find out the views of women who have recently given birth about aspects of their birth experience and care.

Birthrights is a new charity dedicated to protecting and improving women's rights and choices around pregnancy and childbirth.

The survey is open to all UK female Mumsnetters who have given birth in the UK in the last two years (ie from Sept 2011 until now). Throughout the survey please fill in your response on the basis of your most recent experience giving birth.

Please note: both MN and Birthrights are very aware that some women may have sadly lost their babies late in pregnancy or at birth. If you have experienced a still birth and/or late miscarriage for your most recent birth experience, you're very welcome to complete the survey.

Everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a prize draw where one person will win a £100 voucher for the store of their choice.

Here's the link: www.surveymonkey.com/s/8GGCVK9

Thanks and good luck,
MNHQ

Done! In my very last box though I noticed after I had hit send that my autocorrect had changed 'positive' to 'sit ice'. If you come across a submission that appears to make no sense it'll be mine. Substitute the nonsense for the word 'positive' and you'll be fine!

Done. I'm lucky enough to be able to rave about my local obstetrics department, let's hope more people can have positive experiences with lots of support from MWs and Obstetricians.

OddFrog et al - rant away - all comments welcome and will be read by the team at Birthrights - they really add depth to the stats.

Somersaults - will sort

thanks all. Do post the link on any postnatal club MN threads you're on as well if they fit the timeline.

Hello MNers!

Does anyone know whether this survey has anything to do with a woman who was on Chatsworth Road Market (Hackney) recentlyish, approaching women with babies, and asking whether they would be willing to talk about their birth experience?

My friend was approached, approx. 3 weeks ago, and she gave her business card to the woman, but hasn't heard back yet. As it was near Homerton Hospital, we assumed it was a survey/ report about that hospital in particular... But perhaps it was this???

If anyone is able to shed any light on this, I would be very appreciative. Especially if someone is researching experiences at HMP Homerton. Thank you!
