Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?
It was very good.

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?
It was very effective. I don't think it was any better than the ones I normally use.

Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would prefer to use tablets with fewer chemicals because the fewer the better, however if it wasn't as effective and needed to be hand washed after it wouldn't be an overwhelming benefit.

Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?
Depends on the price. I usually buy either Fairy or Finish, whichever is on offer. If it is comparable then I definitely would.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?
Yes, I think it would appeal to a lot of my friends.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?

I liked it, the smell wasn't as 'chemical' as the ones I usually use. I do prefer the wrapped tablets to non wrapped.

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?

It was just as effective, I have a very good machine so don't have many problems anyway, I did notice that I got away with using the next setting down for oven dishes/pans rather than using the very long hot wash that I would usually use.

Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, I hate the chemical smell when I open the dishwasher, it was nice not to have that. It just strikes me every time that we eat from those plates and chemical residue cannot be good for us.

Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, I would definitely buy it again but only when on offer, I never pay full price for dishwasher tablets.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?

Yes I would recommend it, it worked well and I like the lower chemical content.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?

Good. Attractive and easy to use packaging. I like the fact that you don't have to get the tablet out a wrapper before using it.

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?

As effective. I noticed that everything was shinier than normal afterwards.

Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?

Sounds like a good idea to have less chemicals as long as they still perform well, which these do.

Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, if it is on offer. At £12 for 27 tablets it is very expensive. I currently buy either Finish or Fairy alternating between them when they are on offer and never paying full price for them.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?

Definitely!

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?

I liked not having to unwrap the tablets. They smelt really fresh and not chemical smell

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?

I usually buy fairy or finish all one tablets. My husband thinks these are better than both. They tackled burnt on chocolate pudding and left the Pyrex bowl sparkling clean, he was very impressed as normally it would need to go back in for another wash

Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes!I don't like using so many chemicals and dislike the blast of hot steamy chemicals I get when I open the dishwasher door. Anything that works well without the over use of chemicals has to be a better choice.

Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, I would buy them again, but I would wait til they are on offer and stock up. £12 is expensive for 27 tablets, easily I can use that in two weeks. I always buy fairy or finish on offer, but would prefer to get these now. The dishwasher smelt really fresh afterwards.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?

Yes, I would recommend them. They are much more effective than the supermarkets own brand cheap tablets, and less chemicals too.

Thank you for the test, I really enjoyed it.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?
I was very impressed.
Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?
I use finish power tablets on a regular basis, but found the glass had a better sparkle with power and pure.
Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?I would prefer to use tablets with fewer chemicals as I am worried about the amount of chemicals used in homes today.

Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not? I will use them again as they give an excellent finish.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family? Yes.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?
They are obviously very similar to the Finish tablets we use normally, but paler and did have a less chemically fragrance to them.

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?
I genuinely found them better, I was surprised as I expected no difference between the Finish Powerball and these ones, but so far since receiving them on Saturday, we have used them repeatedly over the weekend and today, with a family of 6 there has been plenty to wash! I generally find that I have to put some dishes or cutlery back as they haven't been cleaned properly the first time round but so far I haven't had to do that with these tablets. Everything seems really clean and doesn't have a gritty film on it either like some tablets have left.

Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would prefer to use anything with fewer chemicals, and yes, that includes dishwasher tablets, I don't like the smell of the chemicals or the residue of chemicals left behind on the dishes or cutlery. Things like phosphates and bleaches can't be healthy, I prefer natural products to the ones with chemicals. Unfortunately my bank balance favours the chemically ones as they are always the cheapest.

Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would definitely be willing to buy them again, but it would depend on price, I agree with other comments that at £12 for 27 tablets, it seems to be one of the more expensive products available and even their effectiveness and reduced chemicals wouldn't persuade me to spend the extra cash, not when there's more necessary things to buy for the family. I would consider these more of a luxury item and choose the tablets which are on offer.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?
Yes, I would definitely recommend them, I like the cleaning power so far, they do seem to work better than other tablets I've used, and I do really like the fact they contain less chemicals and other friends I know with children particularly would be keen to make the change to fewer harmful chemicals.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?

Very good - cleaned well and the tablets looked colourful.

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?

It was equal to them or perhaps slightly better as I tried it with several really dirty pans and it managed to remove all the dirt.

Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, fewer chemicals are better for my family. Especially important with things you eat off!

Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, if on offer as the price of £12 is a little too much in my opinion.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?

Yes

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure? Really liked them - great quality product.

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?
I usually buy powerball but thought the cleaning power of these were better, especially with cutlery and glasses.

Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would always prefer to use products that are made with fewer chemicals but am usually disappointed with the cleaning power, wasn't the case with these tablets though.

Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?
Probably, but the fact that they are more expensive is a sticking point.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?
Good smell and I liked the covering on them as they kept your hands clean

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?
I usually buy cheaper, own brand tablets. I think these are better in my older dishwasher, but they are far more expensive.

Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?
I think it is a good thing, but its not normally something I would notice/ pay attention to. However, it seems a good idea. It may persuade some people to buy them.

Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?
At full price these would be too expensive for me to buy, although I would buy them if they were on offer.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?
yes I would (but would remind them to look out for offers)

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?

Packaged well in a neat, strong, easy to store slim pack. Smelt clean and fresh. Cannot leak and 'weld' together like Fairy tablets sometimes do. Excellent cleaning on all items tested. No residue or watermarks and the added benefit of fewer chemicals.

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?

Easy to use non-wrapper, all in one tablet which dissolved completely in machine. Cleaned all glasses and cutlery without leaving residue or water marks and left the plates, serving dishes and even baking trays squeaky clean and shining.

Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? if so, why? If not, why not?

Absolutely. This is especially important to me on items that are being used by my family where they may be ingesting chemical residue. The tablets had a noticeably less chemical smell and left the cleaned items without residue.

Q4. Do you think you would be likely to buy it again in the future? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would. Worth the bit extra to not have to re wash the glasses and for the peace of mind of fewer chemicals and less residue. Would still be nice to find on offer sometimes to keep reminding me of the benefits though!

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?

Yes I would recommend for all of the above reasons!

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?

They smelt really fresh and clean. I was concerned about the plastic casing, as I am more used to the traditional battle with a small plastic bag.

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?

I am actually surprised that they work as well as they do. I was expecting them to promise more than they delivered. I alternate between Finish Classic from Costco and Aldi own brand ( the one that won Which magazine best buy). I have been using Finish Power and Pure since Saturday and I have to say that my dishes are significantly sparklier and don't feel gritty at all.

Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would love to say that I would choose something based on Eco credentials, but actually I am a busy working mum, and choose something based on a Venn Diagram of Price/Effectiveness, and buy whatever falls in the middle of this diagram. Chemicals or lack of them don't really figure I am afraid ( Waits flaming.....)

Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, I would buy them again. I would have to wait until they are on offer for them to fit into my aforementioned Venn Diagram of Value. The chemical free would not make me spend £12 on 27 tablets, when I can spend £5.99 for 52 tablets of Finish Powerball Classic at Costco.
I would however actively chose these over another brand if they were on special offer.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?

Yes, I would recommend them. They have reallly impressed me with their cleaning. The chemical free element is a great addition and USP.

Thanks for the test, I was expecting to find them more "style" than "substance" but I have genuinely been impressed with their cleaning.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?
i thought they were great.ive been a fan of finish for a long time but cant always afford them unless i see very good offers.

Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?
i expected them to claim they did something new and then didnt.but they cleaned really well.and were quite special.
Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?
i have to be honest yes i would.but then honest again leads me to say that being a busy household with costs to think of i couldnt say if it was price marked up because of this that id choose it.the best price is usually what my overall choice comes down to.but if they were equal price id deffinately go for fewer chemicals.
Q4. Do you think youd be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?
yes,but ill have to wait as i said for them to be on offer.
Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?
yes.they have really made a difference.and the fewer chemical use was a great bonus.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Finish Power and Pure?
I thought it was a unique idea to capture a growing area in the market, for those of us concerned about chemicals and the role they play in our family life. I buy organic food to cut down on chemicals, so this would have certainly been something I would have looked at purchasing.
Q2. How effective did you find Finish Power and Pure compared to your usual dishwasher tablets?
I honestly did not notice a difference in cleaning power, as I currently use another finish product. The main difference was the lovely smell. We are very used to the lemon smell which exudes from the dishwasher, but this had a lovely fresh smell.
Q3. Finish Power and Pure is made with fewer chemicals, would you prefer to use dishwasher tablets with fewer chemicals? If so, why? If not, why not?
As stated in Q1 I buy organic food because of the fewer chemicals issues. We do not yet know if chemicals have any affect on our health, but having two children both with small ailments (asthma and excema) I consciously try to reduce any chemicals in what we eat / use as cleaning products etc...
Q4. Do you think you’d be likely to buy it again in future? If so, why? If not, why not?
Definitely, as long it is comparible in the aisle.... i.e if it was £2/£3 more expensive it would not fit my budget. I always have to weigh off chemical free vs. budget weekly.
Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Finish Power and Pure to friends and family?
I would. I have already told my mum about the product and she will try,.....
This product is great and has made me happy. I go to a lot of trouble weekly to buy the right food to put on my childrens plate, and to serve that on a plate which has been chemically treated - I suppose undoes all my efforts (something I had never thought about before!) Thank you Finish x

I like the product design, easy to handle and use. The pack is easy to re-seal and store. One tablet had burst, leaving some loose powder in the pack, but I guess that happened in the post.

So far, they've been pretty effective. I haven't used them on anything really tough - I usually use Fairy Platinum which is fantastic, even on grill pans and cooker hood filters. I'm not sure if these will be up to those jobs yet.

I've never really worried about chemicals in the dishwasher - my assumption is that it's all rinsed away and doesn't do any harm. Are they more environmentally friendly? It doesn't say so, but that would be a reason to choose them.

I'd buy them again if they were on offer. I think I would stick to Fairy Platinum if the price was equal. I'd recommend them to anyone who's worried about chemicals.
