BT are looking for 150 Mumsnetters to trial a new BT Parental Controls solution.
Here's what BT have to say: "The new solution tool will support you in keeping your family safe online, by helping you to control the content your family are able to access, whilst being quick, easy and free to set up. The new BT Parental Controls will protect all devices connecting to your BT Home Hub and you are able to tailor the settings to suit your familys needs."
To take part you'll need to have BT broadband at home, as they will need to enable the service via their BT Home-Hub, and also have at least one child aged 4 or older.
The trial will run over 6 weeks (early November - mid December) during which you will be required to provide feedback twice (more if you like) on a private thread on Mumsnet. BT may ask for the testers to try out specific functions. If so, these will be posted on the feedback thread. Please be aware that this is a trial. As such the solution is still in development and has not yet launched.
During the trial, you must agree to not publicise or publicly discuss (except as permitted under the terms of this agreement for the purposes of providing feedback to BT) either your participation in the trial or your experiences in using the services that are the subject of this trial. This includes posting of comments in other web forums or blogs.
Please read the full terms and conditions here, and only sign up if you agree with them.
Everyone who takes part will be entered into a prize draw to where one MNer will win a £250 Love2Shop voucher and one MNer will win an iPad Mini!
If youre interested then please complete this sign up form.
