Q2. What was your overall impression of Cif Cream? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
Q3. How effective did you find Cif Cream compared to your usual cleaning product?

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Cream to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

We would also love to see some before and after pictures so please feel free to add these to this thread. Please note that Cif may use comments and photos posted on this thread in their marketing and promotional material so please only post if you are happy with this.

Q1. Where in your home did you use the Cif Cream to clean?
Bathroom

Q2. What was your overall impression of Cif Cream? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
I found it very effective on various surfaces. I liked the subtle scent, I don't normally like the smell of pine, but found this surprisingly pleasant.

Q3. How effective did you find Cif Cream compared to your usual cleaning product? Extremely effective. Much more so than my usual spray cleaner. Particularly good on upvc window frame, left tiling clean and sparkly as well as lovely, shiny taps.

Q4. The RRP for Cif Cream is £2.50, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?
Without doubt, in fact, I added it to my Tesco order as soon as I finished the bathroom.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Cream to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes. It was so effective and easy to use.

Q1. Where in your home did you use the Cif Cream to clean?
I cleaned the Stainless steel kitchen sink.
Q2. What was your overall impression of Cif Cream? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
In the spirit of the test, I cleaned half with Cif
and half with my usual cleaner
I didn't particularly like the smell, and hated the scratchy feel
Q3. How effective did you find Cif Cream compared to your usual cleaning product?
There was no difference in the result, but the Cif felt scratchy in use
Q4. The RRP for Cif Cream is £2.50, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?
No, cos it feels scratchy
Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Cream to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Ditto

Q1) I used it to clean the bathroom

Q2) I was concerned that it seemed to be a lot thinner than the usual shop branded cream clensers I buy. However, I cannot deny the shine on my bath, I have never known it to be so effortlessly clean. There was a lot more powder residue than I usually find with shop cream clensers though

Q3) it did clean a lot more efficiently, and with a better result than my usual products

Q4) I think I may be a new Cif convert. I always thought all products were the same, but this has changed my mind

Q5) probably would recommend, but if on special offer

Q1. Where in your home did you use the Cif Cream to clean?
Lots of places! Mainly kitchen bathroom

Q2. What was your overall impression of Cif Cream? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
Liked the smell, clean but not overpowering, cleaned very well but a bit annoying that it seemed to require rinsing off

Q3. How effective did you find Cif Cream compared to your usual cleaning product?
It was v effective particularly through dust covered grease on the stainless steel extracter fan.

Q4. The RRP for Cif Cream is £2.50, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?
For that size bottle, no. For a bigger bottle possibly. It does seem a little pricey

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Cream to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes for the ease of cleaning through grease but no for general cleaning.

Hi, thank you for sending me the Cif to test.

Q1, I've used it in my kitchen, on the high chair to give it a good scrub and in the bathroom.
Q2, my overall impression is that it cleans really well and easily dissolves dirt and grime, especially in the kitchen sink which needed a good scrub.
Q3, I prefer the cream cleaner to my usual spray cleaner and will be swapping to it from now on.
Q4. I think £2.50 is a reasonable price, though I would be interested in buying it when it's on offer. I will buy it again. It's effective and smells pleasant. A 'clean' scent.
Q5, I would recommend it to friends and family.

Q1. Where in your home did you use the Cif Cream to clean?
My kitchen, downstairs toilet and bathroom

Q2. What was your overall impression of Cif Cream? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
Liked the subtle smell and the pouring consistency! My stainless steel sink and taps are gleaming and my bathtub is very white which shocked me!

Q3. How effective did you find Cif Cream compared to your usual cleaning product?
I am a recent convert to another brand that claims to get rid of dirt with a bang ;0) but this product was equal in performance and actually I think it costs less!

Q4. The RRP for Cif Cream is £2.50, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?
I want to see how long the bottle lasts me first but it's definitely a possibility compared to my current "bang and the dirt is gone" product!!

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Cream to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Definitely!

Sorry didnt see the thing about before and after photos.

Q1. Where in your home did you use the Cif Cream to clean?
Kitchen.

Q2. What was your overall impression of Cif Cream? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
I used it to clean the granite work surface where the drainage channels to the sick had got a bit grubby. Brought it up lovely with zero effort from me. Maybe one thing I didnt like was that it came out quite fast and I used way more than I needed to.
Smells nice and clean without being chemically.

Q3. How effective did you find Cif Cream compared to your usual cleaning product?
Much more effective! My stainless steel sinks are really shiny, much better than the stainless steel cleaner I had been using before.

Q4. The RRP for Cif Cream is £2.50, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?
I am very likely to buy it again. but that seems expensive for such a little bottle. You dont need to use much though.

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Cream to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, I definitely would.

Q1. The day the Cif arrived I decided to tackle the kitchen first. The results were great so I've also used it in the bathroom (including floor and window surround), marks on skirting boards, DD's Bumbo and on DS's trainers.

Q2. I was really impressed with the results! Easy to cut through spills, dirt and baked on food on cooker. Removed the disgusting black mould round the windows really easily. Great results on trainers as well which I was very impressed with.
Lovely fresh, clean smell.
The only thing I didn't like was it dried my hands after I forgot to wash them immediately after using.

Q3. Compared to usual cleaning products (including supermarket own brand and Cillit Bang) I much prefer Cif for results. The bottle of Cif seems to be lasting longer as I don't seem to need to use as much product. It also has a much nicer smell than Cif Multipurpose.

Q4. ASDA is currently selling Cif Cream with Microparticles at £2.34 for 500ml, double the size of the bottle received. If the RRP is for the 500ml bottle then yes I will be buying it. I would hesitate to pay £2.50 for a bottle half the size.

Q5. I already have! I lent my Mum the bottle I received so she could use it as well!

Q1. Where in your home did you use the Cif Cream to clean?

I used it for basins and the bath, it really removes stubborn stains of white baths.

Q2. What was your overall impression of Cif Cream? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?

I like the way it leaves everything smooth and feeling very clean.

Q3. How effective did you find Cif Cream compared to your usual cleaning product?

I like a cream product far better than a spray, I can use it on a sponge far more easily and sparingly.

Q4. The RRP for Cif Cream is £2.50, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?

If for this size, very expensive, so no

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Cream to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would and have, but pricey, a similar product in poundland does the job so I am told!

  1. I used the cream on sinks and the bathroom

2.I like the way everything was shiny and squeaky clean and it was fast and easy to clean with

  1. I like this product. I've not used a cream before but found i used less than a spray and it seemed more effective on tough spots. It felt substantial

4.I would not pay 2.50 for a bottle this size as I normally buy cleaning products on offer for around a pound. If the bottles are bigger i would consider spending the 2.50 on it

  1. I have spoke about the product and would recommend it. I'll be interested to see how much it sells dfor and the bottle size in store, when I'll probably only buy it on special offer.

I bought a 500ml bottle in Tesco for £2.50 I suspect the 250ml size we received were a special sample size. Regardless, I will continue to use CIF. My bathroom had been sadly neglected for a few weeks and I was very impressed with the ease of use, as well as the level of cleanliness this gave me. Much better than my usual spray cleaners. It must be good - both DH and adult DC have commented on how shiny and clean the bathroom is now. I am now back at work having been off for a few weeks after an accident, and I definitely plan to use the cif on a weekly basis for a thorough clean, with just a wipe over with a spray product to maintain the shine in between.

2 good. Cleaned well, excellent on ceramic hob. Not good on old tea stains. It was too runny - I used more than was needed.
3 better than my usual spray
4 too much for this size. I'd pay it for a larger bottle.

Q1. Where in your home did you use the Cif Cream to clean?
Kitchen and bathroom, UPVC frames

Q2. What was your overall impression of Cif Cream? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
I found it easier to use for specific areas like window frames, which it cleaned very well, easier to apply in those areas than the spray I normally use. It easy to use too much on your cloth.
I didn't like using it on stainless steel hob, it took ages to make it shiny again
Q3. How effective did you find Cif Cream compared to your usual cleaning product?
Very effective, i like the fact it seems more substantial than sprays, good on UPVC frames that were very mucky!

Q4. The RRP for Cif Cream is £2.50, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, I would probably keep a bottle in the cupboard, but still use my spray for stainless steel items

Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Cream to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would recommend it

Q1. I used it to clean my kitchen and my bathroom.

Q2. I thought it was great, I liked the smell.

Q3. Really effective, especially in the bathroom. My bath always looked a bit grubby at the bottom despite being cleaned twice a week and now it's removed whatever old marks there were. Also I had a hair dye mark on the sealant on the sink which nothing has removed (in years!) and one go with the Cif has pretty much got the whole lot off! It also got rid of the stains in my kitchen sink and the hob looks much less grubby.

Q4. Yes I would, even this size as you don't need to use too much and it really works better than anything else i've used. Stuff just comes up that bit cleaner using it.

Q5. Yes I absolutely would.

Thanks for the sample!

Q1. Kitchen.
Q2. pleasant smell BUT, although less than I remember, there was loads of residue, which took ages to remove. It also has removed the identification for which hob each knob lights, and the high/low etc. NOT IMPRESSED!
Q3. Effective, too effective - see above. However I can see the power in having a bottle for really grubby jobs, just not day to day, or where your bothered about the surface - I can see it abrading finishes also.
Q4. I think this bottle will last me several years.
Q5. Not sure. Would depend on what they wanted to do with it. Would strongly recommend AVOIDING for day to day cleaning.

Q2. What was your overall impression of Cif Cream? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like
Overall impression was ok - I used it on the top of my kitchen cupboards which were dusty and greasy - I used this alongside my usual cream cleaner and it was just about the same in terms of cleaning ability - I liked the smell.
Q3. How effective did you find Cif Cream compared to your usual cleaning product?
It was about the same.
Q4. The RRP for Cif Cream is £2.50, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?
Would not buy at this price as it gave the same cleaning standard as my usual brand which is no where near this price, my usual brand however, does need more rinsing, but I would not pay extra for this "upgrade".
Q5. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Cream to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend it as a cleaner, but would not recommend on the price.

Q1. I used it all around my kitchen.
Q2. Quite impressed actually. It cleaned really well, and removed old manky cooked on bolognaise sauce from my hob really easily. The best thing is as it isn't a spray it doesn't take my breath away when using it.
There's nothing I didn't like. I didn't really find there was much of a residue left, but then I rinsed it off quite thoroughly as I was using it on food prep areas.
(just to add, now I've dried off a bit more my hands are quite rough feeling. Not as bad as after using bleach but more than just washing up. I know, I should have worn gloves)
Q3. Very effective. No scrubbing needed and cleaned off old stuff on my hob that other cleaners had left behind.
Q4. Yes, I would buy it if it was on offer at a cheaper price. But then I am tight. Personally I reckon £2.50 is pretty steep for such a small bottle, and as it doesn't have any type of flow valve I was pretty heavy handed with it so it wont last long.
Q5. Yes. I would. I have never actually bought a cream cleaner because they strike me as a dated type of cleaner. But now I've used it I will most definitely carry on with it. Never know, I might even clean the bathroom...
