Hi! I was chuffed to bits to be selected as one of the lucky 20, so thank you.

  1. I like the new products a lot (as does DS2!), and it's nice that there are new varieties of things he already enjoys, such as the oaty bars. When the box arrived, I was really impressed and surprised by the amount of things to try. I thought it was very generous.

  1. I haven't seen any other toddler soups on the market tbh, and I just liked the texture of the stews and the fact that they weren't bright orange like most other baby/toddler foods. I like the fact that they look more home-made and natural. I also haven't been aware of any other toddler cereals except porridge-type products, so the Number Jumble was a bit different.

  1. I have already bought the beef and dumpling stew again! DS2 really enjoys home-cooked stews and soups, but I'm just not able to make them during the week, so they always tended to be a weekend treat. It's nice that he can have something like this for tea during the week too. The oaty bars are also invaluable as snacks when we are out and about, and substantial enough to fill him up for a while.

  1. I thought the stews were nice, but I was surprised at how garlicky they tasted! Not sure if that was just me though! I also tried the mango fruit gummies and wasn't too keen. Very strong taste of mango.

  1. Value for money if very good in my opinion. The products are all substantial and, although I couldn't afford to give him a Mighty Meal every day, they are affordable to have a wee stock in the cupboard.

  1. DS2 is only 16mo, and he can be a bit boaky and gaggyGrin with his food, so I had to very lightly mash up the stews, but he loved both of them. I have bought more for that very reason! He also loves both types of oaty bars, and the strawberry Squeezy Tubes. I tried him with the sweetcorn soup but he wouldn't touch it, I'm afraid, so hopefully better luck with the other one. I will report back. He has also refused to try the cereal and the gummies, but I think that's partly his age and the fact he has never had anything like that before, so I will persevere with them. I haven't tried the mango fruit pouches yet.

So, a bit of a mixed bag from DS2, but I will keep trying him with the things that he has refused so far, as he is only really just into the age group that the foods are aimed at. I will come back later with more. I hope this is helpful though.Smile

I wasn't part of recreating panel but we use the Organix snack range regularly with my 2 DC's - DS (5) has a pack of the corn snacks in his lunchbox every day and also has the cereal bars a couple of times a week - the raspberry ones are his particular favourite!

DD (3) also has the corn snacks for lunch during the week and also likes the cereal bars - her favourite ones are the strawberry bars!

I really like the no additives promise of the Organix foods and love that the corn snacks have no salt added so I can give them as snacks instead of ordinary crisps. The cereal bars are handy treats for when we are out and about.

The fruit gummies sound interesting so we might have to do our own taste test on those!! I will also keep a look out for the squeezy tubes as both of my DC's have bowel issues so I use pureed fruit to help them and I'm always on the look out for new new sources!

We were very excited to be chosen and DS (2.3) got stuck straight in with the testing Grin

Q1 The packaging looked good and the products were much as I expected them. I have bought organix/goodies before. There isn't any noticeable difference between the new stuff and the old, looks-wise.

Q2 I haven't seen toddler cereal like these before and they are a hit with my toddler because a) they are banana flavour and b) they are shaped like numbers. Also, I haven't seen anything like the gummy sweets, which would be a nice compromise for toddler demanding sweets if they see older siblings having some. I think the other products are available through other suppliers but I think the goodies ones came first

Q3 I love the snack/oaty bars for just chucking in my bag for emergencies. I do like to keep the occasional ready meal in the house for DS for emergencies. I like the versatility of the squeezy tubes - can be kept in cupboard, fridge or freezer to make ice lollies

Q4 I tried the soups and I thought they were a bit bland. DS wouldn't share the other stuff with me Smile

Q5 In all honesty I will only buy this range when on offer in the supermarket as I do think its expensive BUT having said that I know that what I am buying is good quality and junk free so when I do buy convenience food for ds, I would go for this first.

Q6 Organix Mighty Meals: We haven't tried these so will come back

Organix Mighty Soups: DS not a fan of soups but he grudgingly at Hearty Root Veg & Beans once he had tipped some apple juice in it when I wasn't looking. He took one try of the Tasty Sweetcorn & Noodles and wouldn't give it another go even though it has sweetcorn in it (his favourite!)

Number Jumble; Banana Cereal: He likes these, esopecially as I think it makes the milk taste banan-y too
Apricot Oaty Bars and Strawberry Oaty Bars - Both a big hit
Squeezy multipack; Mango or Apple - liked,
Fruit Gummies; Also a big hit
Squeezy Tubes Strawberry & Pear - DS liked these and then I froze them to make them like "tiptop" ice lollies which he loved even more!

Can you see a theme here? DS loved all the sweet stuuf Blush Will report back on the meals next week.

I'm also not a member of the testing panel, unfortunately. However, I have to say that Organix products are the only snacks I buy for my DS (2.5) and the only ones I bought on a regular basis for my older DS when he was a wee one.

We try to make sure we have gingerbread men in for a supper with a warm drink of milk (though not so much since the warmer weather settled in). It seems to give us a little calm time. Smile

The cereal bars and cake bars are also staples in our cupboard. Excellent for sticking in my handbag on the way out of the door in an emergency situation e.g. didn't realise how close it was to lunchtime when I decided on a trip to the park... Blush

I also love the rice cakes. DS loves them too, but not as much as me. However, I have to limit them as they are way too expensive to be an adult treat as I won't stop at two or three!

I find Organix to be the most reasonably priced, healthy and nutritious snacks on the market.

Unfortunately we weren't a tester, but my daughter (16m) loves Organix products. She has an Organix fruit pot in her weetabix every morning for breakfast. She is also a big fan of the gingerbread man biscuits. They are such great value for money and we will definitely be trying some of the new range they have out!

My DC used to love the Organix oaty bars (particularly the carrot and cocoa ones) but my god they're expensive. They used to be around £1 a box when DS1 was a toddler, then the price went up and up until I stopped buying them because they were just too expensive.

I was also really surprised at how much sugar they contained. I now get Aldi Harvest Morn cereal bars which have about 1/3 the sugar and are 1/3 the price!

Our DD (7) still loves the flavoured rice cakes and the oaty bars - DW always gets a bit furtive going into the toddler food aisle, with a 7 and 12 year old to feed and not a toddler in sight...Grin. she is also deeply envious that the range of Organix toddler foods is so much more extensive than when our two were little....

Wasn't selected, but we already regularly buy Organix snacks. I like the fact that there's no added sugar, they're organic, and that they come in the right size packages. My two love them because they are "treats". We particularly like the Alphabet biscuits, the raisins, and the corn puffs.

Ones that aren't so successful are the tomato stars (not because the kids don't like them, but because of the messy red hands/fingers you end up with) and it would be good if the animal biscuits came in small individual packets.

DS (27 months) likes the alphabet biscuits, the gingerbread men (large and mini!) and he enjoyed the fruit gummies when he tried them yesterday. He wasn't mad keen on the the crisps, but the biscuits are very popular.

Not a tester.

We like the Organix range. (DD is 2). The cereal bars have always been a great hit (although the veg & oat ones were not popular). DH & I often finish off what DD can't manage, although that's less these days. The fruit bars are another great success - we'd like to see more flavours. They're really handy for keeping in your bag as they don't seem to mind being bashed about a bit either. We liked the finger foods too.
The fact that the products are organic doesn't matter to me at all, but the 'no junk promise' is very important.
I like the sound of the new Mighty Meals & Soups and we'll definitely be trying the new Goodies treats. DD loves soup, but I'm not so keen. It's nice to think there's a suitable ready prepared soup as 'adult' soups tend to be full of unsuitable ingredients, especially the amount of salt.

Would have loced to be a tester but anyway... During my recent trip to the UK have been overwhelmed by the choice of age appropriate food and snacks available for my 2yo. We have brought back to France several packs of Organix rice biscuits and 'crisps' - have they thought about expanding abroad? Would be vvv happy to help with the French or Benelux markets..

Q1 What was your overall first impressions of the selection of foods that Organix has just launched? Was it what you were expecting? If not how was it different?

it was a really good variety of foods, with breakfast, lunch, and dinners covered, as well as loads of snacks of course! Bit disappointed not to see more savoury snacks though, as I feel like there are not many savoury options other than crisps and rice cakes.

Q2 Did any of the foods you received stand out as very new and different to what other toddler food is out there? Why do you say that?

the fruit tubes and the soups - neither seems to be available elsewhere.

Q3 In general, when do you think you'd buy these foods again - can you think of specific occasions when they?d really help you?

the fruit tubes, definitely (if I could find them in the shops!), I will also buy fruit pouches, and probably the chewy bars too.

Q4 Did you / your partner try any of the foods yourself, if so what did you think of them?

I tried the fruit gummies - found them quite tough compared to other fruity gum things on the market. Also the ready meals - can totally see why my kids spat them out though. The only ready meals I have ever seen them eat have been the little dish ones, which are obviously fresh food. The organix ones were not so tasty.

The children wouldn't let me near any of the other stuff though.

Q5 What did you think of the value for money for the items?

I think it is comparable with other baby/toddler food on the market. Apart from the oaty bars, which are very dear.

Q6 And last, but importantly, what did your little one think of the foods? Were there any firm favourites that you will look to purchase in the future, and if so why?

2 little ones tried them - DD is 1, DS 3.8 (and DD will eat anything she can get her hands on, whereas DS is going through a 3.8 year long fussy phase).

On test are....
Organix Mighty Meals: Beef Stew & Dumplings and Veg, Bean & Lamb Hotpot (RRP: £1.99)

neither child would eat more than a mouthful of either of these.

Organix Mighty Soups: Hearty Root Veg & Beans and Tasty Sweetcorn & Noodles (RRP £1.69)

neither child would eat more than a mouthful of these either.

Plus a selection of the new Goodies range:

Number Jumble; Banana or Raspberry Cereal (£2.69) - DD likes these dry as a snack, DS won't touch them.

Apricot Oaty Bars (£2.49), Strawberry Oaty Bars (£2.49) - DD found these too hard for her 2 toothed mouth, but DS loves them!

Squeezy multipack; Mango or Apple (£2.79) - we got a strawberry one? Both DD and DS loved these!

Fruit Gummies; Mango (59p), Fruit Gummies; Apple (59p) - again, these were quite tough for DD, but DS liked them. Not as much as he likes other gummy things on the market though.

Squeezy Tubes Strawberry & Pear (£1.99) - these were the firm favourite of both children, and we will definitely buy these if we see them in store.

thanks for all the test products!

Babycarmen That's a great idea to add a fruit pot (Organix) to Weetabix! I will definitely copy that idea to increase fruit and vitamin uptake in my 12 month old!

I'm not a tester, and I only buy one Organix product, but I buy it religiously every week so hopefully that counts for something (otherwise I tend to make baby purees and fruit purees myself...)

The product I buy every week is the Organix 7 month crunch sticks, carrot flavour. They are a lovely crunchy texture, a healthy snack and DS2 gets a few on pick-up from nursery on the way home in the pram, sharing with DS1 too! I have tried them and love the taste, so I can see why they are attractive to babies. They are like a healthy "Wotsit".

Not a tester but a BIG fan of organix - have used organix foods for all three of mine and can't fault the high quality, convenience and range of products / flavours and tastes!

I have to confess that even I have a nibble of a lot of the 'snack' type products e.g. I love the gingerbread biscuits, and I love the flapjack bites sooo much (sometimes the kids don't get a look in!).

I love that I can trust that all of the food is healthy.

My baby girl adores the fruit purees and they are always handy to take out and about.

The 'puff' type snacks make a fantastic alternative to crisps, but I can feel happy that they are a healthier option than having to resort to crisps.

The mighty meals come in such a fab range of recipes - again they look and taste good enough for me to eat (rather than yukky mush like some other brands). They are just the right size for toddlers too that it makes a perfect meal one days when I don't get the chance to cook from scratch for my little girl.

I have so much praise for organix foods that I honestly can't think of any negatives. I find them good value because they do contain much higher quality ingredients and aren't overpriced.

Non tester.

We have LOADS of toddler snacks from the organic range in our house, DS (3 in October) loves whatever I buy from your range. We have all ranges of the Crisps... particular faces being the noughts and crosses and carrot sticks. The apple Oaty bars are also a firm favourite in our house, as are the gingerbread men.

Never seen your squeeze tubes in the supermarket before but they would definitely be something Id buy... or try... with DS as he is a fruit and veggie-phobe so ANYTHING that has 1 of his 5 a day in and looks fun we are willing to try!

Non tester here too.

I love how much of the snack range is milk, egg and gluten free - it's a godsend when trying to BLW an allergic baby! It's amazing how many other manufacturers manage to at least sneak milk powder in somewhere.

Non tester but my DD loves the products we have tried.

I see somebody else does this, but I add a fruit pot to her weetabix or sometimes porridge in the mornings (mainly when they have been on offer).

I tend to keep snack items in my bag for her and the cereal bars are very good without being too unhealthy. I actually quite like them myself.

I've not tried any if the savoury products as I try to cook from scratch her main meals but I do like the products I have tried from the range and perceive them to be healthier with less ingredients than some baby food ranges.

Thank you so much for choosing us!

Q1 What was your overall first impressions of the selection of foods that Organix has just launched? Was it what you were expecting? If not how was it different?

There was a lot more than I'd expected! The packaging was a lot nicer that i had thought it would be.

Q2 Did any of the foods you received stand out as very new and different to what other toddler food is out there? Why do you say that?

The soups were very different! My DD2 loved them, and drinking through a straw was very popular.

Q3 In general, when do you think you'd buy these foods again - can you think of specific occasions when they'd really help you?

The oaty bars would be great in my handbag for me an emergency snack or lunchboxes.

Q4 Did you / your partner try any of the foods yourself, if so what did you think of them?

The whole family tried all of them! The least popular ones were the fruit gum sweets which were very hard, and the cereal which seemed quite tasteless. The ready meals didn't seem to go down that well, but since DD was teething at the time I'll give the benefit of the doubt!

Q5 What did you think of the value for money for the items?
Fairly pricey, but I'd still get for a treat.

Q6 And last, but importantly, what did your little one think of the foods? Were there any firm favourites that you will look to purchase in the future, and if so why?

The oat bars definitely. Even my mum liked those! The squeezy pouches were hugely popular and there was a tantrum when those were gone, but given the size nearly £3 seems very expensive. I might get those occasionally. The most popular thing was the box, which DD2 happily sat in, squishing the packing peanuts.

Again, thanks for this lovely tester!
