NOW CLOSED Is your child taking the 11+ exam this year? MN reviewers needed for live, online tuition courses from Bond 11+ at Nelson Thornes

We have been asked by the team at Nelson Thornes to find 4 MNers and their child to review one of their live online tuition courses for the 11+ exam. We're looking for folks with at least one DC who is taking (or planning to take) the 11+ exam this year.

All details are below.

If you are selected you'd need to ensure your child completed the course and then to add a review in the MN reviews section as well as on the Nelson Thornes website.

We're looking for the following testers:

2 to take the 11 plus maths tuition course
2 to take the 11 plus verbal reasoning course

Courses would run over 5 weeks, starting on 17th June. These courses are worth £150 each. Nelson Thornes say "Expert 11+ tutors guide small-groups of students through practice questions in an interactive online classroom to build skills and confidence"

Maths participants would need to be available: Mon & Wed at 6pm for a 1 hour lesson

Verbal reasoning participants would need to be available: Mon & Wed at 5pm for a 1 hour lesson

If you are selected, you will be sent a headset and will need to have a strong broadband connection and access to a laptop or desktop PC for each tutorial. Your email address, own name, your childs' name and the course subject will also be sent to Nelson Thornes and they will set you up on the system, and email you with details of logins etc.

Your child would need to ensure they took the whole course and then we'd need you to guarantee that you'd add a review as requested by 19 July.

You'd need to abide by our guidelines for reviews and would need to add a statement of integrity to your review. Details will be sent to the selected reviewers

My daughter is due to do the test as she has been part of a G and T group in her year 4 class. I would be interested in her taking the verbal tuition and feel that it would be good prep for her next year at school.

My daughter is taking a VR and NVR test in September to enter a and has no tutor (except me and some past papers!). We'd love to give the VR tutoring a go please...
