My eye area was never puffy, so I won't comment on that. But after using this product religiously, and in accordance with the instructions, there has been no difference whatsoever to the look of my eye area in terms of my fine lines and dark circles. The area feels more moisturised, but there is no difference to the look of it. My fine lines and dark circles look exactly the same.

  1. What three words would you say best describes this product?

Luxury, disappointing, unnecesary.

  1. Do you think you will continue to use Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Infusion in the future? If so why? If not why not?

No. I can't believe I am saying this, as I have used Estee products for 15+ years and I have confidence in the brand. I use the foaming cleanser for dry skin in the pink tube, idealist (in the morning), advanced night repair (at night) and daywear for dry skin. I am delighted with these products, and will continue to buy them. I also use some Estee make up. But I am very disappointed with the ANR eye serum, as it has done nothing at all for my eyes. Its not as if I can say that the product doesn't agree with me, or that its not for my skin type. I haven't had any reaction to it - it just has made no difference.

  1. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend it to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?

No. I will continue to use it as there may be some improvement in the future, but had I paid for this product, I would be very, very unhappy. As I say, I can't believe I am saying this about the product, as I am a proper Estee lover.

  1. my eyes definitely aren't dry, they feel lovely and soft and well moisturised. Additionally there isn't much puffiness to speak of. My dark circles might look a little better, but this isn't so obvious and could be subjective. Tbh I haven't noticed any drastic difference in fine lines or wrinkles. My skin is pretty sensitive and I didn't have any problems using the cream - it's wonderfully gentle and caring to skin, soaked in to the skin very quickly and easily.

  1. gentle, easy, pampered eyes (yes, I know thats 4 words Blush )

  1. No, because it is too expensive for me to justify purchasing given the outcome I've had from it.

  1. I would recommend it for an eye cream for sensitive eyes which helps dark circles and puffy/tired eyes for someone who has the income to afford it, but tbh I wouldn't recommend it as an amazing anti wrinkle eye cream (in fairness I've never used an eye cream before aside from borrowing DHs occasionally but his seem to give a satisfying eye tightening feel which made me feel like it was doing something instantly which this doesn't. Maybe that's not what it's trying to do though and that sensation was more there to give this effect to consumers rather than actually doing something Hmm ).

  1. After using the Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Infusion, did you see any changes to the look and/or feel of the following areas? If so please give details.

  • Fine lines

I definately think my deeper lines are appear more fine, and the finer ones are not so visible.
  • Dark circles

The dark circles under my eyes although not gone, have been reduced in appearance. I don't look so much like a zombie (for a change!)

  1. What three words would you say best describes this product?

Easy (to use)
Quality (product, it smells and feels lovely)
Sparingly (?? - a little goes a long way, not feeling eloquent this morning, but although it is an expensive product, you only need a tiny bit so it would last for ages)

  1. Do you think you will continue to use Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Infusion in the future? If so why? If not why not?

I will continue to use the sample bottles I was sent, as I am liking the results and imagine they are gradual so who knows, in 6 months time I may have no lines around my eyes and no dark circles at all! Then, depending on results over the longer period of time, I may or may not purchase more.

  1. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend it to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?

Probably, as I could see results even if they were only small ones (to begin with).

Ps: thankyou for choosing me to product test this! I love testing stuff out! Smile

I didn't really notice any different, despite scrutinising my face every day Grin. It didn't really seem to make any difference at all. Except it stung like an absolute bastard some days, so I had to stop using it for a day or so. I wanted to take part in the trial because I have eczema round my eyes and struggle to find something. I have no eczema under the eye (and never had problems with products there before) but this really did not react well with my skin. It also felt a bit cheap and didn't smell nice.

  1. What three words would you say best describes this product?

Faffy (page long instructions to put on eye cream...), disappointing and painful.

  1. Do you think you will continue to use Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Infusion in the future? If so why? If not why not?

No, I won't even finish using the rest of the bottle as it has no benefits to my eyes and not worth the pain factor. I will be sticking with dermalogica.

  1. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend it to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?

No, because it didn't do anything to my skin, didn't really have that luxury feel I was hoping for.

I don't really have any proper wrinkles around my eyes but the fine lines look a bit better, I think this is because the product really helped with the puffiness and dryness in that area. The delicate skin looked much healthier, more moisturised. I was disappointed with was that it didn't help with the dark circles but to be honest, work involves late nights and three young DC involve night waking and early morning so I think that was a bit of an ask!

  1. What three words would you say best describes this product?

Luxurious, it felt so nice on my skin.
Easy, to use and apply.
Fresh, made me feel much fresher and brighter.

  1. Do you think you will continue to use Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Infusion in the future? If so why? If not why not?

I will be using the rest of the bottle and you use such a tiny bit I'm sure it will last for ages but I'm not sure if I would spend that much on a specific eye product when i could probably find an all over face serum that gave me the same feeling.

  1. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend it to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?

I have mentioned it to a few people and said thats it's nice, but I would probably be more likely to recommend it if people were concerned about puffiness.

Thank you so much, especially for the other serum which was fab!

I managed to use the product for almost 2 weeks before I had to stop. In that time I felt my fine lines had improved and I actually got asked for ID when I bought a bottle of wine (I'm 34!).

  1. What three words would you say best describes this product?

Luxury. (it really felt like a luxury product, from the packaging to the feel of the cream, and I felt like I was pampering myself when using it.)
Non-sensitive (I know that's not a word, but I reacted to it and I never usually need to buy products for sensitive skin. I'd actually say my skin is generally fairly robust!)
Expensive. (well, it is!)

  1. Do you think you will continue to use Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Infusion in the future? If so why? If not why not?

No. Unfortunately I seemed to react badly to this product. I've never had a bad reaction to any kind of skincare/beauty product before, but for some reason after less than 2 weeks the cream started to sting when I applied it and my skin started to get very red and irritated, so I had to stop using it.

  1. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend it to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?

Maybe. I did think I was starting to see results. If I hadn't ended up with sore, red, dry eyes I may even have considered getting DH to buy me buying some more after the trial. DH seemed to think there was an improvement in the short time I was able to use it. So, I wouldn't recommend it, but I wouldn't tell friends to avoid it.

One other thing. I thought the application instructions were a bit complicated and I kept doing the dabbing and circling in the wrong order initially. It felt a bit weird to be using a special technique instead of just applying it like any other cream. (I did manage to figure it out after a couple of days though).

Yes, my fine lines are dark circles are definitely improved significantly, despite a stressful couple of weeks with not much sleep

  1. What three words would you say best describes this product?

Effective, efficient (because you only need a tiny bit each time), luxurious.

  1. Do you think you will continue to use Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Infusion in the future? If so why? If not why not?

Yes very likely. It is the most effective eye product I have ever used

1. After using the Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Infusion, did you see any changes to the look and/or feel of the following areas? If so please give details.
- Fine lines
- Wrinkles
- Dark circles
- Dryness
- Puffiness.

It took a few days but yes, I did see improvements in all of the above. I didn't feel the night time one was as effective for some unknown reason despite religiously making it part of my bedtime routine.

First thing in the morning I still noticed the usual lines and puffiness were there but after an hour or so of application it definitely improved the appearance and most of the puffiness has gone.

2. What three words would you say best describes this product?

Non-perfumed, Non-greasy, Easily applied

3. Do you think you will continue to use Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Infusion in the future? If so why? If not why not?

I doubt I will continue to use this product in the future. Despite it smoothing out the puffiness and wrinkles, I have a feeling this product would be expensive.

Also, it's recently come to my attention that Estee Lauder still test their products on animals and this is something I wouldn't be happy with.

4. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend it to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?

I wouldn't recommend for the reason given above.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to try this product out. Smile

Happy - I don't know! Initially I was really disappointed because I didn't notice anything, and then suddenly 2 weeks in my dark circles really improved. They are still there because I am unwell and hugely sleep deprived atm, but they are so, so much better and I just look tired rather than ageing and haggard!

I used it twice a day, with the other serum they sent at night (love that too BTW!)

Ali That's exactly what i have been doing. Maybe I'm not using enough - one pump per eye. I have been using the other serum they sent for 15+ years and I love it, so I was over the moon to be sent a free one as its £40 a bottle. I will keep the faith.

I definitely noticed a difference after using the product. My dark circles faded a lot, I was so pleased with it. I also think that some fine lines may be looking a little better too, just a touch. But I love what it has done to the circles.

  1. Do you think you will continue to use Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Infusion in the future? If so why? If not why not?

I think I will - I have been trying for ages to reduce the dark circles under my eyes and tend to try and hide with make up. I much prefer not having them at all and make up only disguises for a while. This product actually deals with the circles rather than hiding them which must be better.

  1. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend it to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, certainly I would. We always swap the latest beauty find that has worked for us. I would tell them to try it because of the results I got from it.

Ali I am a proper EL addict. I am 37 and have dry skin. That said, I've used the same products for years. I use the foaming cleanser for dry skin in the pink tube, which is brilliant - about £18, but it lasts me 2-3 months as you don't need a lot; Idealist every morning, which is the gentlest ever daily exfoliant and leaves my skin like velvet, this is about £35 or so and it lasts about 4 months; the advanced night repair that we got free with the eye serum - I use this under moisturiser every night and it lasts me about 4-5 months; and I finish off with Daywear moisturiser for dry skin (there are two Daywear moisturisers, one for dry skin and one for combination skin) which I think is about £38 and it lasts me about 3 months. I also like their gentle eye make up remover, but I rarely buy this as I don't feel I can justify it very often what with the Simple one being about £3. I tend to ask for it when anyone asks me what i'd like for my birthday/Christmas.

Take a look at the range whenever you see a department store that has a 'get this beautiful gift when you buy two items' offer. I can't quite believe that the eye serum hasn't worked for me. I feel ever so slightly let down! I will keep trying though - I cannot accept that it won't change my life.

The skin under my eyes definitely feels smoother and my dark circles have reduced (that said, the trial has also coincided with me taking sleeping pills, so that might have helped too Wink). My eyes are not puffy either, so that's an improvement.

  1. What three words would you say best describes this product?

Gentle, refreshing, effective

  1. Do you think you will continue to use Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Infusion in the future? If so why? If not why not?

Yes I will because I was looking to start a proper skin care routine that incorperates an eye product to delay the ageing process, and I've been happy with the results so far. I love the fact that you need to use so little of the product, making it better value.

  1. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend it to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would and have done so already! A friend who is a beauty therapist helped me to select some suitable products which she recommended, and in return I have suggested ANR.

No, but I also didn't see the trial through. I too had a weird allergic reaction to the product, so had to stop two weeks in when it started to burn when I applied it - I then realised that the product had also been causing the horrid dry pain I'd been developing in my eyes since I started taking the product. No. I woke up every morning with crusty eyes. The only day I didn't was the day after I got horrendously drunk and fell into bed without putting on the serum. Incidentally my eyes looked much better that morning despite the hangover than they had at any time during the trial.

Not really. All I could tell them was all I got from a month's use were crusty eyes

Slight improvement to fine lines but only because I've been scrutinising! My dark circles seem slightly lighter at the outer edges but not massively different. My eyes are definately more moisturised and less puffy.

  1. What three words would you say best describes this product?

Expensive. Moisturising. Luxury

  1. Do you think you will continue to use Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Infusion in the future? If so why? If not why not?

It is expensive, yet I have used it religiously daily and still have loads left. I like that. Some expensive products barely last. I think if I get to the end and notice massses more improvement I may be tempted to buy more. However I would not have bought it off my own back as the price does seem steep for what it is.

  1. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend it to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend to a friend who has lots of disposable income and fancied trying something new. For someone who is looking for something for their eyes but doesnt have money to burn I wouldn't as for the price I don't think it's worth it.

Thank you for the face serum though, now THAT I would pay for definately!

I don't suffer from dryness or puffiness in the eye area so can't comment on those (though the serum definitely made the area more moist). I can see no difference in fine lines, wrinkles or dark circles and I have used the product exactly as stated every day for the whole period. How disappointing! I was hoping for at least a temporary effect or a difference whilst I was wearing it under makeup etc...but sadly no.

  1. What three words would you say best describes this product?

Disappointing, thin, dull.

  1. Do you think you will continue to use Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Infusion in the future? If so why? If not why not?

No - like the first poster I have a lot of brand loyalty towards Estee Lauder and use face products, perfume and make up - but this product has done absolutely nothing for me except add an extra couple of minutes to my skincare regime morning and night. It's not even a particularly lovely product to use - it doesn't smell of anything or feel luxurious in any way. Even the bottle is dull - sorry!

  1. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend it to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?

No I wouldn't, because I can't say that it as done anything for me whatsoever. It doesn't affect my overall opinion of Estee Lauder though - I would continue to recommend Daywear in particular.
