advice on getting my 18month to sleep on her own please!

I really need some help getting my 18 month old daughter to sleep, since she was a baby she was so good a going to sleep up untill a few months agoshe bither lip and it was very sore and cudnt drink from a bottle so i would cuddle her till she went to sleep then ended up sleeping in my bed. Now i cant gether back into her cot unless i sit with her till she drops off, but will not sleep all the way through do you have any advice please
