Well, it appears to be a landslide victory for Norman and the Tea Drinking Party!

Pictures will follow later!

Thank you to everyone who voted, we all enjoyed it in the SoMuch household!

Hooray hooray

and quite right too

You can't go wrong with a politician who is mostly involved in drinking tea

Norman may throw a tea party later to celebrate - you'll all be invited. Even the disenfranchised Little People are invited!

I'd just like to say a big "Thank you" to everyone who voted for me. Also thanks to all my mates who supported me throughout the election campaign, and to my owner for his help. Also to his Mummy (SoMuchToBits) for supplying me with regular cups of tea. And finally thank you to my owner's auntie for purchasing me in the first place and giving me to my owner as a gift.

Hello to all my Mumsnet friends, you are all welcome to join me at lunchtime for a celebratory victory tea-party.

I have to go out now for the morning, but will be back at lunchtime to report on Norman's victory, and interviewing various people in Playmoland.

Are we allowed biscuits with our tea? I heard there would be tax insentives for drinking tea - is that per cup? I hope these werent false promises now that you are in power!

SoMuchToBits · 07/05/2010 08:30

Yey for Norman.

What went wrong for Michael? He seemed to have strong support on MN and has trailed in last . It wouldn't happen in our constituency - the police block vote is huge here (unless of course all the gun-toting policemen despise Michael for being a mere beach policeman?).

Will Jack Jellyhead, as a worthy second place winner, also make a speech?

Report
Slubberdegullion · 07/05/2010 10:44

I'd never vote for a man (plastic or policeman) who campaigned wearing white trousers.

Grave error imo

He's got a clear mandate but does he intend to work with the other parties? If so Father Christmas for Foreign Sec!

Norman certainly intends to work with other parties. He will let you know his cabinet in a few days, when he has had time to form his government.

I would like to say thank you to all my supporters, but feel sure the election was fixed. I think Norman may have bribed the electorate with tea.

Think me and me mates will now have to steal all his teabags. Come on mates, lets get going!

Well done Norman! Congratulations! I will be pleased to work with Norman and he is welcome to come and have a cuppa in my cafe anytime.

Congratulations to Norman. I will look forward to working with him. Actually I don't know what I was thinking of, standing for the Christmas All Year Round Party - I would have had to work every day instead of just once a year .

stealthsquiggle · 07/05/2010 11:38

BossyRoss is being very gracious in defeat.

I think Michael may have to stop weeping all over his white trousers and go and get some proper policemen colleagues to guard the teabags.

MichaelTheBeachPoliceman · 07/05/2010 11:42

What's wrong with my white trousers, that's what I want to know!

Well done Norman old chap, I'll be around to help if you need it! And thanks for all those who voted for me!

Latest news is that a group of dissatisfied robbers have been rioting and trying to steal Norman's teabags. Michael has called in reinforcements, and police are now at the scene....
