to go commando whilst wearing jeans

Had some low cut jeans on yesterday.

SIL said 'how do you wear those without your knickers showing over the top'

Me: 'don't wear knickers'

SIL: Shock HOW can you go commando.

She was seriously shocked that I didn't wear knickers. I said how the bloody hell can you - skinny jeans so a VPL would show, if you wore a g string it would peek out over the top and look horrible.

She made me feel a complete bohemian.

I wouldn't go without knicks.
I wear the really low boy shorts with low cut jeans.

No, i wouldn't weatr them if they were uncomfortable. If they are uncomfortable whilst not wearing knickers, stands to reason that they would be more uncomfortable with them on, surely.

Those low boy shorts wrinkle up - and the vpl shows through.

Oh bloody hell someone confess to going commando so i don't feel like MN pariah! Grin

Envy that you can do low-cut jeans - 3 pgs later, I have an overhang that provides shade for small children on hot days..............

Agree with OYBBK - I'd have thought it would chafe.

You can get low rise G strings, M&S, Cheltenham, just to save having to wash jeans every time. :)

Never seen low rise g strings.

Thing string + skinny jean would cause chafe, though, tbh.

DD is scandalised by the commando-ness as well, but I just put that down to her being a teenager and thinking that everything her mother wears is beyond the pale.

I don't see why you can't wear ordinary low-cut knickers (not boy shorts). They don't show over my skinny low rise jeans.

Not that I'm saying you should, if you don't want toGrin

I'm glad you've just said that, GetOrf, but I still can't help but think it's a bit yucky.

I went commando in jeans once when I lost my pants at swimming. Walking home was very uncomfortable. If they are that low don't you expose your arse?

Report
BuzzingNoise · 11/08/2010 09:27

I'm not sure! I just could never imagine going out knickerless, even though no-one would know. I guess I'm a bit prudish.

As long as you wash the jeans everyday as you would your knickers and if it is confortable I don't see the problem with going commando.

We knows yer not a skank, GOML. Grin

I wear the low rise g's and they are really comfy, and it saves me washing my jeans daily, does that make me a skank?

If anyone can find me a pair of jeans that look better with knickers, I'll wear them. But, for now, I'm with you OP.

clean jeans with a freshly washed muff is not yucky
