i have just started shopping in sainsbrys after years of doing it in tesco but ive now moved and sainsburys is nearer.anyway they have the scan and shop system which is great as its nice and quick and my children dont get bored but it can be a pain to keep opening the carrier bags every few minutes however i have seen a few people in sainsburys that also do the scan and shop but they put their shopping into big plastic basket type things and then they go straight into the car boot but i have no idea where to get them from so was wondering if anyone here knows what they are called and where to get them from?
many thanks

If the ones you've seen are dark blue with orange handles, I think they are quite old and not produced anymore. I have some that were my Mother's and you are right, they are great, although they can be quite heavy once they have tins and weightier items in them. My Mother obtained them 10+ years ago and I haven't seen any new ones for a long time. It's worth asking at your store. Let us know if you find out they are available again or if it's another type of new box.
