Did you know you were having twins before your scan? Any clues?

I am currently 10 weeks pregnant. I have quite a bump for 10 weeks and lots of people are saying im big for the gestation and saying about twins.
My mum is a twin so its in the family.

Few other things, Had been using OPK's and got 2 days of smiley faces which ive read could mean you ovualted twice as you usually only get one day.
During this time we were bd'ing twice a day and got my BFP on day 22 of a 26 day cycle. Instant Pregnant on a CBD, which again ive ready could mean twins.

Maybe im just reading too much into things

Sorry its turned out such a long post, just wondered what everyones experiences are as this is my first pregnancy im abit clueless!

Actually you're not quite right. Some twin mums don't have any real significant growth for a fair while and some have no or little sickness.

When I was pregnant with my twins I was the same size as when I had been pregnant with my singletons.

I had a funny condition (that my mother had had) which caused me to over produce saliva which I couldn't swallow without being sick. That was not as a result of having a twin pregnancy.

The only way you'll know for sure is when you have your scan.

If it is twins do come and say hi on the d'y ever threads.

I hardly showed until I was 16 weeks, that was with triplets!

There's no way of knowing till you have the scan. You're probably overthinking it!

(Having said that I was showing at 10 weeks with mine)
