Are you a PCOS (a hormone inbalance that affects your cycle, amongst other things) sufferer?
I am, I had only 2 periods a year until I changed my diet. I swapped to only organic foods as non organic foods contain synthetic hormones which only serve to worsen the symptoms of PCOS. It took almost a year to really improve my health but I'm now 31 weeks pregnant! We'd been trying for years! I was due to start taking clomid before I found out that I was actually pregnant.
If you think you may need to have clomid to help increase ovulation you will need to speak to your doctor. You may well have to undergo a couple of blood tests and your DP may need to provide a sperm sample before your GP will make a decision for or against prescribing you clomid. I'd strongly advise you go for the diet change in the meantime as these tests can take some time. You never know, it might be enough to get you pregnant!

Oh bless your cotton socks.

You'd like DTs huh? Well they are lovely to have but believe me it's not an easy option. Of course you could always check out some of the stories on the d'y ever threads and see if that makes you realise how much blardy hard work joy they bring.

I have a twin sister.. and when i got pregant with my DCs my mum said i am glad you are having singletons.. carrying twins, birthing twins , looking after twins is more than double the work

there are 6 years between me and my twin and our younger brother as my mum was so traumatised and terrified.

i know there are a lot of positive twin stories out there... but think about having one child screaming all night with colic or vomiting and diaorrhea, and DOUBLE IT !!

odds of having twins is around one in 80 i think, increasing as you get older

but if you want to , go for it!! although i know a number of people who have taken clomid and not had multiple pregnancies
