Twins - Boy very boisterous

I have girl/boy twins that are almost 2 and a half. My son is very very physical and is constantly throwing things, running away, hitting his sister with hard objects and pushing anyone who is smaller over! It doesn't appear to be aggressive or malicious but when he is pulled up about it it seems to make things escalate until there are no more things to throw and I am holding his wrists! Time out doesn't work as he can escape and he thinks being put back on the naughty step is hilarious. When he's good he is SO gorgeous but I could have put him in the bin quite happily today. HELP!!

Put him somewhere where he can't escape, and then ignore him. A child will respond to any attention, whether it positive or negative. You could strap him in the buggy and turn him away from you, telling him a firm "you do not hurt your sister/friend/mummy" etc. He'll get the message eventually.

He sounds jsut like my dt2. He is same age and a little bugger when he wants to be! I have to strap him in the high chair adn ignore him for a bit. Naughty step not working too well for us neither.
