if so any views on the issue. am guessing it depends if you still have another toddler at home or if you have had one go though it all before. dd is ready but ds i fear will struggle with all day. and as for me...well it just seems that we are beginning to enjoy ourselves etc and they have to go..plus it has been a rubbish summer with the weather and a lot of spine pain (Me) and then 3 weeks in isolation as ds has to have tonsils etc out next week and was away form children this week and needs to be kept away for 2 weeks afterwards which leaves only 6 dyas til they go....

my two are also starting school in September. It will be odd not having them around so much - but I think they will enjoy it and it will give me space to actually get things done at home !

Bit late on this thread, but my two started school in September.

How are yours getting on? Are they in the same classes?

I have b/g twins. They were in the same class at the School Nursery but the school policy is to split them in Reception. I was a bit worried about the change, but they didn't mind at all, and I get to hear so much about school as they sit and chat together about what they did.

Hi Tigerlily - mine (id boys) are in the same class because it is a small rural school where the first two years are in the same class.

They like school and have settled well - the only difficult times have been when one or other have been ill and they have to go on their own. Despite the fact that they are not always together in what they do at school, just knowing the other is close by seems to make a big difference.
