Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Does anyone want a dt? ANYONE? Up for grabs to the first taker.

I've really had enough today. He was good as gold all weekend, while daddy was home. As soon as daddy goes to work he's up to no good.

He yanked off all the shoes and spread mud everywhere, ok that one I can ignore, jsut cleaned him up.

He was sitting angelically on the couch watching cbeebies so I left him for two minutes, came back and he smeared vaseline all over his face and given himself a lovely hairdo. Shower no.1.

Went out in the garden, digging the base for their new playhouse. Lovely sunny day, boys were running around. Shay went behind the shed, checked and he was jsut playing with some gravel and a bucket. 5 minutes later, there is blue paint EVERYWHERE. I don't know how the hell he got the lid off, it was a brand new tub, I was using it so they didn't slam the door and lock me out in the garden.

He is so quick and just waits until my back is turned to get up to something. On friday, it was the fireplace, he looked like a chimney sweep. And this is the same dt that managed to open and jump out of his bedroom window, falling 10 foot. I can't do anyhting with him.

Oh Kelly - dont they drive you crazy. Mine also discovered the fireplace when we moved house this time last year. Two pairs of hands wiped up the back of the fireplace and then patted all over the pale pink carpet to make handprints. Just in case anyone was wondering it doesnt hoover up or brush out. It is a nail brush and stain devil on a roller job - and then they did it again about a week later - I went completely spare and threw the most enormous fit and so far they havent done it again ..... yet.

Oh Kelly, so much sympathy! My dt2 is just the same - if I haven't seen him for five minutes, I know that means he's been doing something destructive/dirty/dangerous...

Had many similar Vaseline incidents, he seems addicted to it. Spreading himself with my makeup is another one he loves to do. Flooding the bathroom is a regular thing. Eating dirt, sprinking his dinner with his juice, drawing on the carpet, emptying out the bottom of his wardrobe, trashing the bookcase....

Is it a twin thing?

Hope you managed to get the paint off and keep your sanity at the same time.

definately not a twin thing. Had similar with DS1 who knows better now so gets DD1 to do it instead. Dread to think of how messy it'll be once the twins are mobile and added into the mix.

OK Kelly since you have no other takers send him my way.....

No experience of twins, but I wold be inclined to say it is a boy thing. DS took a bright pink marker to my brand new pale beige sofa a couple of weeks ago. Mind you my neighbour has twin boys (5) and Sunday morning they coloured in the carpet curtains and walls with permenant marker in their older brother's bedroom before she woke up.

hey, I spot a taker - get back here fg!

He's been quite good today, only destroyed ds1's schoolwork, poured juice over the sofa twice and required four changes of clothes. Oh and I'm not even going to mention the blue squits issue!
