Mothers of twins - what baby present would you have *really* liked?

I need to send a present to someone with 1.5yr DS and newborn twin DDs.

I am not looking for suppliers, as they are in Australia and I will try and find something online, but ideas as to what you wish someone had got you (or something brilliant which they did get) would be very welome.

Thank you!!

I wish someone had got me one of those Gymini play mats. Ended up getting it myself & it is so useful for "playtime" when they are tiny and can't really play at all (also takes the pressure off mum a bit as is quite hard to b "creative" when they are so small). Important for twins, you can leave one in it whilst you feed the other. The thing people got me that I really appreciated ? Baby sleeping bags and clothes....but BIG clothes (ie. 3-6m & 6-12m sizes). This means that you have things ready for when they grow. Just bear in mind the season - so don't go buying fleeces if it will be mid-summer by the time they can wear them!

I'm not a mother of twins, but a great present are those very soft baby shoes that stay on - they're fairly expensive. Bobux is a New Zealand brand. And because they're quite small and light, you can send them in the post.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Since I haven't seen / talked to them for ages, I am a bit cautious of buying equipment on the basis they may already have it - but the playmat is a great idea - judging by my DD, even if they have one one of the DTs will mess it up often enough for a second one to be useful - that or clothes it is!

I ended up using these people - cute bouquets of baby clothes and the shoes recommended - mainly because it was the only place I could find where I could include something for the twins' big brother in the same package.
