and so our fourth chapter begins.......

LARGEGIN!!!!! from ear to ear. I love you. Have the leather recliner, the cashmere throw, the box of Gordon Ramsay chocolates (surprisingly very scrumptious)and how about this warm, soapy footbath. Here, I've even brought down a thick, soft housecoat to nestle you in and I've just lit the candles! A friend indeed Now, sit back and relax and I'll do the dishes, sort the laundry, and make the packed lunches .

So, anyone found us? Or too scared to click on the title I feel like I'm in a game of sardines!!!

Oh dingdong, you kept your name too! I have lovely, lovely friends on here .

Yeah, the chocolates were a present at Christmas and I opened them thinking "ah well, we'll give them a blast". My thinking goes that there are specialist chocolatiers and Cadbury and Green & Blacks and that not just any Joe Bloggs Ramsay can make chocolates.........then I tasted one.......

Evening ladies, im glad it made you FG!

Gordon Ramsey chocs mmmmmm where are they from, must try them out. Im not normally a choc person at all but this prg has made me cho c mad. Probably why i have put on a stone and a half already and am only 23 weeks!!!

If you could take over all domestic chores that would be fab FG, am suffering from hellish cold that seems to have sprung from nowhere. Am runny, watery, hazy headed bundle with very red nose. I never get ill, it had better go very quickly.Dh is home for the weekend and i may be a ball of goo...

This is the trouble when you are a SAHM, there is no day off. I used to go to bed and watch tv, eat takeaway and vegetate. HA!

Am off to make myself some vast plate of spinach and veg to try and ward off nasty bug, grrrrr

lol dingdong!

Largegrin, thats awful. I know that we must eat healthily (and for the most part I do) but I also think the body craves things for a reason......go with it I say as long as you pop in the spinach too! How do you 'do' your spinach (I had it once at a friends and it was a disgusting pile of cheesy cakey hot thing and I have been put off ever since) I would like to include it in my diet as I always did like the Popeye cartoon

Now, I'll do the housework (I have a sadistic tendency there) and you get some sleep, it cures everything. Go. Now. Sleep.

aha, I found you!!! THought you could get rid of me hey!!

No, I am here with my pox ridden child and small crying baby!!

The pox is still red spots on DT1 and no sign of it at all on DT2 or DD. I thought they were supposed to blister after a day or so but they are showing no signs of doing so.......

Anyway what have I missed....whats all this Nutini talk, I thought it was a brand of chocolate spread.......(sits back and waits for double entendres to start flying about chocolate/paolo/general spreading analogies - come on FG you know you want to....)

HM I AM IN LUST! He seranaded me from the radio with his gravel voice and I knew I had to have more. Bought the cd and I knew I had to have more. Saw him on telly and I knew I had to have more. He is but a child of 19, but has a voice from the gods, brooding looks (like he's been dragged through a hedge backwards actually, I find that hugely attractive ) and I would like to give him debauchery lessons

I knew it was a bad idea to take regular exerise. It has just given me far too much energy.

HM I hope its just a mild dose all round. I watched DT1 like a hawk expecting a rush of blisters - it was slower than than, just that they got hot and itchy and then I noticed they were slightly bumpy. Fingers crossed for you, lots of people say their children were neither up nor down with it.

My DTs have runny bottoms, deep joy.

well if you need a laugh - here is one for you.

DT1 (aka Master Unclean Poxalicious Boy) was just idly flicking through Heat magazine which was lying on the coffee table in the lounge. He suddenly got really animated and started shouting "Mummy! Mummy! Mummy!" and pointing to a picture in the magazine.

I thought, "I wonder which tall dark-haired attractive actress/pop star/model it is that he thinks I resemble - Kate Beckinsale? Helen Baxendale?"

I bent over to have a look and it was.......

Ugly Betty.

In her ugly guise.

HELLO!!!!! I keep popping in and seeing there is so much to catch up on that I creep out again before anyone notices.... I know I'm way behind but trying to catch up!

FG - you still have chocolates left over from christmas , you are so disciplined. Now, don't be selfish and bring some in and share them with us, no sitting on your special poo covered chair scoffing them alone!
As for the swimming, the amount you are doing is great and not necessary to do anything else if you don't want to(I also hate the gym), but doing a good stroke is more effective (not head out of the water thing), and you should try to do a couple of lengths a bit faster so that you feel your heart rate going up a bit. You won't get big shoulders from doing breast stroke.

Charleymouse, I meant to say earlier that the scans and picture are great! Its funny though, my bump is a completely different shape, it sticks out like a cone, I quite often have a knee or something sticking out jsut under my belly button which is the top of hte cone !

LG&T, very cute children, I also wouldn't want to cut my boys hair if he had lovely curls like that, adorable!

Hello 3pinter & estar

Estar, we also had a funny conversation yesterday about having more children after these , don't think I could stand to be pregnant again though, I would also worry about another set of twins (or more) and if these are boys then the thought of having 4 boys...! I mentioned adoption and dh said that he didn't think he would feel the same about the child if he wasn't the biological father (as he never felt much for his nieces and nephews), I disagree, I think the feeling comes from caring and being responsible for a child, seeing them grow and develop, sharing their life with you.

Throckenholt, a belated happy birthday to yours, so sorry I missed the day.

Dolly Paolo is also not my type either, FG is welcome to shower with him.

Overrun - how is the getting the dts to stay in bed going. I feel too unworthy to give any advice, but in my humble experience with singleton, I have resorted to restraining him in bed by holding him down with the duvet, this leads to tears and a cuddle and he falls asleep.... doesn't solve the problem but may give you one earlier night. More long term is to put them straight back into bed over and over again as soon as they get out (I guess this will take 2 of you with 2 children), don't talk to them at all, just put them repeatedly back into bed, it took 2 or 3 nights for it to work but now I don't have a problem putting him to bed, he knows when I put him into bed that he will stay there. Dh still has a problem because he still talks to him and negotiates with him and lets him get further than his bedroom door before he puts him back into bed.

Spinach - chop and fry some onions with some oil in a big deep pan, turn heat down low and stick in all the spinach on top add some salt or a little bit of dried stock powder. put a lid on so that the spinach cooks in steam from its own juice.

Hospital appointment tomorrow, getting my usual pre- nerves that something is wrong.
Its our wedding anniversary today so as a rare treat we have a babysitter and are going out for dinnner ! I am even planning ot have a glass of champagne, mmmmm, can taste it already!

Lucky you going out to dinner, have a lovely sparkly time and wear something swish to make you beam...

FG glad to see you are still drooling, all the increased heart rate will be doing wonders for your aerobic exercise!!!

I eat my spinach raw FG in a salad, just a mound of it with a few other veges\toms\cucumber and dress it with lemon juice and olive oil and maybe some soy. I like it cooked too, especially fried with garlic and served with steak, very bloody steak....oh heaven...

HM hope the kids are ok, it may be something else entirely if it has no blisters yet. A vague virus as a helpful doctor would say..

Am off to make tea for the hordes now, i have lifted out chicken but half of them want me to make nuggets and the other half want mini roast....i should never have asked....

I'm fine thanks for asking fg.

Took the boys to see a preschool today! First impressions are good, and we're going for another visit next week. With a bit of luck, when the little terrors turn 2 in March they will be starting there two mornings a week.
