Phil & Teds or Jane Powertwin?

I dont have twins but have 3 very close in age and so although I prefer to use a sling and single pushchair need a double for school runs and shopping. Have tried several but the above 2 I am considering now for school run but really dont know which to go for. I have a fold up double to leave in the car and for holidays

I do go off road a bit but wants something smart for shopping too and something that will retain wriggly children. It needs to fold compactly too.
My kids tend to be heavy too so not sure which would be the sturdiest and easiest to get up kerbs and also wear the best as I dont want something falling apart within weeks or looking scruffy after a while

Which in your opinion is the best and why?

only know the P & T, but recommend it.

Kind of heavy though, but i guess all doubles are.

I have a Powertwin and really recommend it. It is long but narrow enough to fit through doorways.

Really versatile - great for a baby and a toddler or two babies or two toddlers. The baby seats can face any way which is fun - mine faced me initially, then towards each other, then both forwards. They have now graduated to the toddler seats which are roomy and comfy and easy to get them in and out of. The harness clips are also easy to fasten - I've got other buggies which are a nightmare to get my twins into, especially after struggling with a coat and hat.

I got mine second hand off a mate and it's still going strong and looks new.

Only downside is the size when folded - enormous! Takes up the whole boot and quite heavy into lift into the car on my own. The raincover is also large and takes up most of the shopping bit underneath. There is always a tradeoff with double buggies!
