My twins are 3 months old. I have had ti out them in to separate rooms cos they kept waking each other up. One now sleep thru but the other wakes every morn at 4. I don't feed him but need to keep putting his dummy on til 6.30 when i am willing to feed him. How do i get him to stop waking at 4?

Feel for you, but no suggestions sorry!! Just goes to show they each have their own little ways. Maybe keep early riser up a little later at night.

Can you feed him at 4 the first night, at 4.15 the second til he gets used to waking then instead, 4.30 after that, and so on til he gets to a civilised time for breakfast? I haven't tried it myself yet, but it's what the books suggest. They also say it can take a bit of time to get to where you want to be...

I think most breastfed babies ought to be waking in the night and if they aren't there's a problem but that is probably just me. I always fed them together. I used to wake them at midnight when I went to bed to feed them. They would usually wake once more before morning and then I'd feed about 6am. But they always had to share a room and still now. One has almost from birth needed an hour's less sleep than his brother. Even tonight age 8 he was up an hour later.

Sorry just going to jump in here, I haven't got any advice re twins waking up as mine havent been born yet.
Xenia- I BF my DD and from the first day she was born she never woke up during the night, there was no problem with her.
just had a terrible image of women reading your comment and going and waking their babies up for food at silly O'clock.

Good luck with your DT meiko.
