I am 30 weeks pregnant with my second set of identical twins and am worried i am not going to cope, my first set are 32 months and are great but being two they are a handful, i am looking for help and support, i have family and friends and help but it is not the same thing.
Anyone out there with two sets?

I know someone who knows someone with 2 sets around 15 months apart. Not much use to you - but she has survived.

One of my cousins has 2 sets 2 years apart and she too has survived!

where are you mumos2xtwins?

I have only 1 set of twins 2.5 and a 4.5 DS1 and i thought that was hard.

If you are near me I would pop in and chat/help

yes, what area do you live in ? some mumsnetters may be able to help.

also phone social services - i think they may be able to help via someone to help with washing and cleaning and stuff.

worth a try

I put a post on here once asking the same question- I have DTs aged nearly 2 and am about to have my 3rd child some time in November but had the same thought that it could be two. A lady posted who had two sets - I will see if I can find her name in teh archives.

And whereabouts are you as per the other MNers? They are right, there are probably lots of people who would be willing to help!

her nickname was deha - maybe you could CAT her - she had twin boys of 6 and girls of 2, and she managed to work 4 days a week - she is clearly superhuman.

You could contact Homestart . I'm sure your circumstances would qualify for some help.

My twins were in the SCBU and I got friendly with some of the nurses and student nurses training at the hospital. Took home a couple of numbers of nurses that were happy to help - thankfully never had to use them but was a nice safety net.

Could you afford a maternity nurse to do nights for a few weeks? Expensive option but my friends that have used them have felt they got their money's worth and the difference between coping and not.

Good luck and hang in there - I'm a great believer that life only throws at you what you can cope with, twin mums are super mums!

big hugs to you mumof2Xtwins. I'm sure you will cope amazingly.

If you are in the swindon area drop me a line I will willing offer you support in what ever way I can!

Someone mentioned contacting the college its a good idea, you can have a student helping you, they will only do what you want them to, they could at least play (constructively) with your older 2 whilst you are feeding/changing the babies.
Also contact your HV she may know of others in your area who have similar experiences to you.

Good luck.

I would guess that 2plus2plus1 is a double twin mum and I'm sure there are other multiple-multiples on here. Hope you find them!

Very best wishes to you in the meantime!
