We just had a bloody awful tea time.

My DTs are sitting at the big table with DD for dinner. I hoped it would help the table manners and I sit too along with a taster portion of dinner and a glass of wine. ITS A SHAMBLES.

DD eats and has table manners like a dream. The DTs wipe their hands all over the wall, kick DD, put their plates on their heads throw food, have bubble blowing competitions with their cups. DD complains and then adopts the "if you can't beat them join them" brigade.

Its driving me bloody nuts.

Dinner without one of the DTs is fine so its the copycat behaviour thats to blame and not a damn thing to do about it.

They are in the garden and I'm looking around wondering what bit to start clearing up first......

Thanks, rant over.

Tell me its fine, tell me just to have that second glass of wine, tell me to go about my business in a calm orderly fashion and to go to bed early, tell me it is worth it that DP is away, again, ALL WEEK, and that it doesn't matter he never experiences all this shite because he has his own shite to deal with.

Tell me, tell me, go on.

Yeah hi, its has been shit. Yeah, away again. If I wasn't such a nice mum I'd bugger off for a week or two (with Mars and Kelly to somewhere hot, yahoo!) and leave him to it and then see if he'd manage and stay sane.

Aw honey, thats rubbish. Thats what makes us women strong, we get up, shake the apron down and carry on.

Nope, my DP is always away. Sometimes we talk about doing it differently but then I wonder if I could cope, as you know, generally I'm a solo flyer....

I never do it alone. like I said to you before, I don't think I could cope, but now I have no choice, so yep we just carry on. It jsut hard that ur dh away SO much, I think you should be so proud of yourself and you deserve that glass (bottle?) of wine.

lol, messenger. You ahoudl ahve a windows version on there even if you don't have msn. It gives you a window so that you can chat much like this but in real time, without having to keep refreshing a webpage.

I want my laptop back, sniff! I'm on dp's comp as mine is in for repair AGAIN!

Right! So, quicker than this? I'm stuck in the middle ages and, having just left dial up behind, I thought broadband was just fab. It gets better????

I really have to clean up and start the baths. Will you be about later? Catch up more then?

p.s. did you eat something decent today?
