expecting dcda twins mid Oct, I've bern told 1 is definitely a girl and other looks like a girl....I really want to know to get organised.

24 week scan today and twin 2 still lying awkwardly.

when did you find out for definite or did you have to wait until they arrived? ??

Mine were both in a good position to tell at the 20 week scan.

We had to wait for our DCDC girls to arrive before we knew if they were identical or not. We were pretty certain they were both girls though as 5 different scans confirmed it.

We were told they were both girls at 20w, and then when we had a 3d scan at 26w it was re confirmed. I don't think we asked again after that! (And they were/are two girls)

20 week scan. I was paranoid that they got it wrong, though, so they confirmed the sexes again at the following 3 scans! 2 DCDA girls, like you. They're lovely. :)

What does DCDA mean?

ScrambledEggAndToast DCDA means non-identical with their own placenta/sacs and membranes etc.

I knew my MCMA boys were identical from the beginning so our curiousity was sated! Grin and found out they were boys at our 20 week scan as T1 had no shame in flaunting!

For our DCDA twins (b/g) we found at our 20 week scan.

And both were correct :)

I've booked a private gender scan for 16+3 weeks it's £69 (+20 as there twins) they say it's 99.9% accurate unlike the NHS so fingers crossed they can see x

12 weeks. We had a private scan and were very fortunate to have a really experienced sonographer who was also a uni lecturer in the subject (so knew what she was looking for). She told us she was 99% sure one was a boy and 85% sure the other was a girl. She was correct. I was too scared to buy any girls clothes until it had been confirmed at 20 weeks though.
