My twins are 8.5m, 7 adjusted. They're still not bothering interacting, beyond the briefest of shouts. They'll happily claw each other while feeding etc but put facing (at an angle, so as to encourage relaxed conversationSmile) they just turn away and look at anything else!
They're noisy and babbling at everyone else. Maybe they just find each other boring? Everyone told me by a few months they'll be best friends Hmm.
They don't seem to take any comfort in the others presence either.
Is this normal? I've been so looking forward to seeing them entertain each other, if only so I can load the washing machine without them missing me!

It's normal, don't worry.
The big wide world is a new and exciting place, their twin has always been there, so not so exciting.
I can't remember when my 2 started interacting with each other, but I think it started with them playing peek a boo with each other or laughing at each others laughs, then they would ignore each other for another week or so. They are very close now, I don't think they will ever be best friends though, they're more like an old married couple. Smile
Beware, once the interaction starts the fighting follows Wink

Babe, they're tiny. Seven month old babies don't normally interact with each other.

Yes, what colditz said, I think some people think that twins will just interact with each earlier just because they're twins. My sil used to think they looked after each other, kept each other amused at 6 months. Grin

I can't remember when my twins starting interacting with each other but it was certainly when they were well over a year and that was to fight over a toy!
My two are now 6 and play with each other most of the time at home.
Give it time, but don't expect much interaction for quite a while

Oh, ok! Thanks.... Admittedly my "everyone" was a sample of about 4, but they'd all said 4-6m. I shall enjoy the relative peace while it lasts then Grin
