TARTS' BOOKCLUB - 1 OCTOBER POSTING

(16 Posts)
Hi

I have two problems this month.

First, I'm in Poland all week, working, not back till Friday.

Second, here in SW London we're really badly affected by postal strikes, and not getting much mail at all.

So I won't be posting my book on till 5 October at the earliest.

Apologies!
oh CRAP I still havent' finished book blush

sorry whoever receives from me
Book arrived yesterday - thank you!

Sorry I have been bad at getting organised, having our kitchen done and we have moved out so limited time on MN.
I'm sorry but I will be late posting as I haven't finished the book yet. while I had swine flu, I didn't touch it in case I gave it the lurgy (ridiculous, I know) so I'm picking it bck up today!

Will post ASAP, sorry again
Have posted for nov 1st - bit late, but not too bad eh?! Can't find a thread for the book I have posted on so will start a new one.
Just heard today that more strikes are on the cards in SW19. We're getting post sporadically, but have no idea if all our post is coming through, or being sent out.

Apologies Growlygus if you don't get your book - I have no idea what's likely to happen with deliveries.
Post seems to be OK at the moment, albeit a little sporadic. I have received your book, FiveGoMad, and as it's one that I've already read, I'm going to post that one on so that I can finish the other one.

I am so behind on anything to do with my personal life!

Apologies, will get my fat arse into gear for the next posting date
hen hao, xiexie!

I'll try for Japan - couldn't be any worse than bloody Poland. (Cold, wet, depressing and I had my purse stolen on the train from Krakow to Warsaw).

Will endeavour to start finish my book so I can get it in the post for Monday.

Read this on Sunday BIWI and had it in my mind that you were in Japan and was all excited - told dd1 and everything - she is learning Japanese and would love someone to try it out on! (she can only count 1 - 10 and say her name!)

You're actually in Poland! Please can you arrange a trip to Japan sometime? grin How's the Mandarin going?

I posted today by the way smile

OMG [shock} everyone has posted except for BIWI who has explained why. That has got to be a first.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]
For a sceptical face, , type [hmm]
For a no comment face, , type [biscuit]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
