Hi All

I posted a while back as I had a MMC at 9 weeks and an ERPC at what would have been 10 1/2 weeks. I still have no signs of O have been using OPKs and am definitely not pregnant trust me if you can pee on it.... I've done it!

I found it very hard to cope with the MC experience and felt that trying again would make things easier, however I now feel that I've lost all hope for normal cycles, I had a great deal of trouble conceiving DS1 due to a history of eating/exercise disorder (now fully recovered) anyway I was just wondering what a normal time frame for getting a period is and how long others have had to wait

Thanks for everyone's help I very much appreciate it

hiya suzidee, sorry about your loss, hope this may put your mind at rest a bit. after my 1st mc my period returned 35 days after, it was a normal flow. my 2nd was a mmc, i also had erpc at 10wks i waited 6wks for af, i was so fed up waiting, i just wanted to get back to normal. this period was very heavy, i suppose i was just having a good clearout. i feel so much better now, my temps were very low in the 6wks i waited to get af and i dont think i had ovulated. but now im back on track and you will be too. i know its horrible but theres nothing else to do but wait, you wont feel like this forever, i know its easy to say and how you are feeling is exactly the same as how i was. hope that helps a little

I Suzi - my first mc was a mmc - ERPC at 13 weeks, baby had died at 6 weeks. It took 9 weeks for my period to turn up, but then things all went back to normal. Apparently it is very common to not have a period for a long time if your body thought it was pregnant (iyswim) for 12 weeks
