I started bleeding yesterday very very heavily, I have severe cramps & lower back pain. The thing is I'm not sure if I'm pregnant or not. I know that sounds silly but I've polycystic ovaries & my period is about 7 weeks late which can be normal for me.

I'm really beginning to think I'm having a mc as the pain is so bad I just had a shower & noticed lots of clots & like little bits of liver??

I don't know what to do now. I don't want the hospital thinking I'm mad if I go

It does sound like you might be I'm afraid. You should definitely go to hospital, the first thing they will do is test your urine to see if you are. (It would still come up positive if bleeding started yesterday). They won't think you're mad. IF you are pregnant then they will want to check that everythings come out. Have you got some hard core painkillers to hand? if not they will be able to prescribe you some if you need them.

Good luck. Hope it's just a horrible period.

Hi distraught1,

Go to the hosptial - get checked out - they won't think you're being parnoid - that's what they are there for.

Big hug.
