Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

Second miscarriage in a row!?

I miscarried beginning of last month at 6+3. I'm exactly 6+3 again now (if dated from miscarry dates so could be out) and i think I'm miscarring again! This one is different. Last one started with light spotting for 2 days then came the cramps and heavy bleed. This one started this morning with light spots then an hour later heavier bleeding. Why 6+3? Do I even bother asking for a scan or even going to the doctors. I was definitely pregnant as I got a negative the week after last miscarriage. Then got posetive about 2ish weeks ago.

Can you go to your local Early Pregnancy Unit and ask them if they can scan you? In my experience some will, some wont.

You should definitely log this with your gp though as they will do tests if you have three miscarriages (not that I'm wishing another on you...)

From what I gather early miscarriages are often a result of an egg that hasn't developed properly/implanted in the right place, so it could just be that you've been very unlucky. I've also had two early losses (5 weeks and 7 weeks) and I know how tough it is to just not know what/why.

Hope you get some answers.

Yeah I probably will go tomorrow. They have to have a drs referral. I hate not knowing. The bleeding has stopped although I still have mild cramps. I just don't feel hopeful :(.

Sorry to hear you have this worry Booxo - I had 2 mcs before I had my dcs and I've had similar bleeding and miscarried and on a different occasion similar bleeding and no problems at all (he's 8 now)

It's awful not knowing, isn't it? I would try and get that referral if you can.

I don't know if it helps to know but I had 3 successful pregnancies in very quick succession after my mcs.

Just a quick update. It was a miscarriage. A painless one which seems strange to me. Was confirmed yesterday via ultrasound, that everything has gone. We only saw the sac the other day, and yday nothing :(, So just going to keep trying and hopefully third time lucky.
