Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

AF 6 days post-ERPC...possible?

OK, so I had ERPC last Tuesday afternoon, stopped bleeding an hour or two later, absolutely no pain/spotting/bleeding since, then today I wake up with a headache and felt a bit bloated during the day (both classic period symptoms for me), just got home and must have come on in the past hour or so, normal AF-type amount.

Can this be right? They said 3-6 weeks! I had a crampy left ovary a couple of days ago but it quickly passed, no other symptoms of the whole horrible business at all.

No. Common to have stop start bleeding. It's whatever of the lining was left coming away now hormone levels have dropped. Treat it as remainder of MC bleeding and use pads not tampons, then expect your first AF 4-6 weeks later.
So sorry for your loss, hope you are coping ok.

Hormones are apparently still there one week on, but I only got the faintest of lines with a First Response test first thing this morning - I'm going to re-test in a week, I really hope its negative (feels so horrible wanting that line to go away :-().

Bleeding is very light, but suffering from a horrible 'time of the month' style migraine at work today which is making me feel quite miserable, didn't even cross my mind to get my tablets from the cupboard and keep them in my bag 'just in case', really paying for it now :-/ hometime in a few hours...

The nightmare began a week ago today, so today has been hard, although obviously not quite as hard as the day itself! Being back at work is helping, I'd have gone nuts at home by myself by now.

I think it's possible. This is based on my own experience, I have no medical expertise whatsoever.

On 11th June, I had the medical management (pessaries) to bring the miscarriage on, but the pregnancy sac didn't leave my body until six days later on 16th June (Wed). I passed a smaller piece of the sac/tissue on 24th June (Tue). Did a pregnancy test on the Sunday and got a faint positive (by this point my bleeding was only light). Had an appointment at EPU on 2nd July (Wed - 3 weeks after given pessaries), & pregnancy test came back negative, so I didn't need to be scanned for retained tissue. They asked about the bleeding and I said it was light now, but when I did the sample for the pregnancy test it came out bloody Blush. EPU told me the bleeding would settle down and I'd get my period in about three weeks. The bleeding got heavier though and I'm convinced that the reason the sample was bloody was because my period had started. I bleed for 10 days with clots etc (on reading various message boards, it seems this is common for 1st period after MC). My hormones were crazy bad at this point; left over pregnancy hormones on top of period hormones. My other half was convinced it was my period as I was showing all the tell tale signs!

That's what I'm suspecting too - I used to get a pre-period migraine with neck pain when I was on the pill and this was exactly like it! Oh how I hate hormones!! (N.b. after being on the pill long-term I got the implant put in instead for 2yrs pre-TTC and the migraines stopped altogether).

Bleeding is still going nearly 48hrs later but exceptionally light (as in not even making it as far as the pad really, I only notice it when I wipe), started bright red but is now 'old blood' brown colour.
