AF/bleeding after ectopic

Hi all

I had surgery last Friday to remove an ectopic pregnancy and my tube. Had some bleeding start on Wednesday, quite light, red and brown with some clots (sorry TMI!) but today its gotten heavier again into red bleeding and today would be when AF would be due if I hadn't gotten pregnant so I am wondering if its possible that AF has arrived already and is getting mixed up with the post surgery bleed? Is that even possible? The other reason that's making me wonder is that until today I had no pain with the bleeding but today I've got AF type cramps.

When I had the ectopic, the pregnancy was about 6 weeks along and my womb lining was only 7mm so obviously my womb was thinking there was a pregnancy (MW said she would have expected a 2cm lining at least) so I ma wondering if my body is acting as normal.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi terry I don't know much about AF after ectopic pregnancy but didn't want to read and run. Sounds like you've been through a lot so hugs are coming your way!
