What happened to your periods after Miscarriage / ERPC

Hi,

I had a missed miscarriage at 7 weeks followed by a succcesful ERPC 4. wks ago. At the time I was told in 4-6 weeks I should have another period.

I then bled (lightly) for 2 wks after the ERPC and then was back to normal physically. Since the bleeding stopped I've tested for Ovulation, admittedly not every day but probably every other and got very definite negatives until this week on Tuesday when it appeared to be a positive Ov test. I am using the cheapo tests so not sure how accurate? Anyway I assumed then I was perhaps ovulating but then had some odd very very light dark brown spotting for two days. I thought it was my period coming but i have no pain / breast tenderness / signs of a period so am a bit confused, since yesterday afternoon i have had no more of this light bleeding.

Anyone experienced anything like this? I am going for a romantic weekend away this weekend and wondering whether I'll be having a period or not I guess!!

I had an erpc 4 weeks and 2 days ago and had some bleeding for a week or so after. I got my period today. I haven't been doing any checks so no idea about levels you mention, but I also didn't have the normal sore swollen breasts that I always have. Odd.

Maybe the lack of sore breasts is because they're still in 'pregnant mode', albeit not particularly noticeably?

Thanks for your replies. Turned out I am pregnant again. Hadn't really crossed my mind as haven't properly been trying but there you go...5 BFPs now so I believe it! Must have been implantation bleeding which I didn't have with my DD so took me by surprise!
