I had a scan to check that my uterus was empty and the miscarriage was complete. Uterus is empty it's just fluid that remains but as soon as the sonographer put the scanner on me she could see a cyst on my my right ovary and on on further investigation (internal) she said there were two cysts next to each other and then lots of swollen folicles. She asked if I was on clomid or the like, I'm not. She was surprised and said that although I am not hyperstimulated it does look like that I am almost there. This could explain why I am in a lot of pain for a good few days every months. I was just putting it down to painful ovulation since the first miscarriage but she said I am a bit hyperstimulated....whatever that means. One cyst is 14mm and the other is 12mm.
Maybe this is why I have been having mid-cycle bleeding?
So quick ovulation since my miscarriage! The nurse told me to be careful this month as I could end up with twins! Well, good job I won't be trying until after I have seen the specialist (I say specialist, they aren't really they are the consultant that deals with recurrent loss at my hospital)
