Thank you both so much for replying. I am so very sorry for your losses.
I started cramping early this morning and baby was born at home. Tiny and perfect. It was very quick and nothing like what I imagined. Currently in hospital as need tablets to encourage placenta to pass.
Thanks again

Im so sorry for your loss.

I found out 12 days ago that my baby haddied (17 weeks pregnant). And I had to go into hospital last week to be induced and deliver the baby.

The process sounds like the cruelest thing in the world but the emotional pain is by far the worst. In my case the contractions weren't that painful, like fairly strong menstrual cramps. Im not sirr if it was any easier because ive had two children already. The hospital were
very supportive in talking me through
what would happen, offering morphine. They also treated me and my baby, a boy, with such dignity and respect. I truly hope you have a good team looking after you.

The process was very calm and controlled. Had first pill to start the placenta shutting down on the Friday and then was admitted in the Saturday to deliver. Had pessary at 10am on Sat followed by oral tablets at 13.00 and 16.00. My son was delivered at 16.30.

I was horrified initially at having to deliver baby and really wanted to be put under but now I am glad I did it this way as it seems a more dignified way of getting
baby out. To me, it was the way he was supposed to arrive, just sadly without the happy ending id hoped for. I have footprints and handprints of his that I look at every day.

Its not been two weeks for me yet and i
m still crying every day. I cant see it getting easier any time soon.

Im truly sorry this has happened to you too.

I wish you all the best for this week and the future.

I am so sorry sad how very sad for you x

I have had 3 MMC, one of which was medically managed, although it was 13 weeks, so not as far as you. I was scared too, but they give you lots of pain relief, and you basically just have to wait until you pass the baby (sorry). Mine wasn't very successful and I didn't pass everything in one go, so carried on bleeding for a few weeks.

Take plenty of comfort things, I wish I had taken a hot water bottle for my tummy. The hospital wouldn't give me one for health and safety reasons sad.

I am so sorry, I hope it all goes as well as it can for you xxx

Hi
This is my second mc, first was at 6 weeks naturally at home. Am now 17 weeks pregnant and had some spotting on sunday night. Checked out and baby died 4 weeks ago. We are devastated, its very hard for me to get pregnant so it was amazing that I did in the first place.
I had thought I could have GA and baby removed but I have to have medical management. I took the first tablet to 'prime the womb' on Sun night and have to return to hospital on wed morning. Midwife said it would all be explained on wed morning but i am terrified. Had a really traumatic delivery with DS and just need to know what to expect on Wed?
Also, have been really ill with Hyperemesis and cant helping wondering about the drugs? Will I be able to find out why this happened? I really thought after 12 weeks I would be safe. Sorry for the rambling post, hard to think straight at the moment.
