sparser pubic hair

Has anyone else noticed that their pubic hair is becoming sparser? I'm wondering if this is menopause related. (I'm a bit dismayed by this).

There was a mention of this symptom of aging on "Grumpy old Women" recently.

I know I am not menopausal yet as I had a test last year, to rule it out. However, I don't think my body realises that I am not! My head hair is also thinning a lot now too. Depressing isn't?

Oh dear. Is it progressive? How much sparser will it get? Personally, I've never liked the "shaved" look.

Yes, I have this problem too. Also, eyebrows and eyelashes are much finer (not that they were thick to start with) Unless I use mascara and eyebrow pencil, it looks like I have none!!! It could be partly hereditary, as I remember my mum having very little body hair as well.

Lucky you! I still am waxing, and can't wait until hair growth slows down. I'm 40. I get a 5 o clock shadow if I pluck my eyebrows.

My poor old Dh (42) has a grey pube (TMI) now that IS a worrying trend!!!

my eyebrows have gone really wild and thick with extra thick grey ones. They are horrible...i know what u mean about the pubic hair...and its going grey too....i hate this getting old business

Loss of body hair including outer eyebrowns can be a sign of thyroid deficiency. This is more common over 40m aparently.
