Link to Reinaud's?

I'm a bit perimenopausal, but so far only erratic temperatures and moods, but I also seem to be developing Reinauds in my fingertips, I've had a quick google and one of the things people take to alleviate it is Evening Primrose Oil - is there a known link between hormones and Reinauds?

I take evening primrose mostly because I can feel quite aggressive sometimes. I have to say it has a very calming effect on me and I swear by it.

I don't know. I have Reynaulds and have always had it, though it's got worse since I had kids. I googled it because it was starting to get on my nerves and it did say that Reynaulds can be a sign of more serious things if it develops after the age of 30 so you might want to get it checked out.

Thank you, although I'm possibly a bit more concerned now! It happened again today, only the left hand (same hand each time, I'm left handed), in addition to going white and numb feeling the fingertips get sort of sucked in looking - none of the stuff I've read mentions the sucked in look, is this typical?
My older brother has recently had a lot of problems with blocked arteries in his legs which I was putting down to his lifestyle which is very different to mine but it is a bit worrying.

Not sure if that's typical, I'm afraid. Mine is in both hands, starts in my second and middle fingers and then goes from there. Sometimes the only thing for it is to run my fingers under a hot tap.

I would see your GP.
