how about the next mumsnet meet up be saturday 26th july.
so as per other brighton thread :

SATURDAY 26TH JULY ANYONE???
i dont go out of my way, and so as to not make this a task of arduous proportions, check your diaries, and make your suggestions.

i dont want to walk into a restaurant having booked early for 10 people to be completely embarrased at only two of us being there i hope you all understand.

i would like to reiterate the dumping of babies and children ( am not really fussed where you dump them) and all you londoners get on a train to brighton

suggestions of a dining venue
am desperate for a curry

Be warned we like to drink lots of wine ( red is preferable)

SO COME BACK WITH PREFERABLE DATE AND VENUE AND YOUR DEFINATE BOOKING.

TA MUCH

lisa

Cor, that's quick off the mark, Custy!! Saturdays in July and August are impossible for me so I suggest Sunday 27 July instead and yes, I could eat a curry as well!

I should still be early enough in my pregnancy that curry will be safe. Fab idea, yes please. And if we're going to talk boringly about Sussex 2ndary school options, I want to be there. Oh yes!

Also, how did your dh cope with ds for the first time on his own?

Report
willum · 06/05/2003 13:57

He loved it. They spent most of the day running round the hills and didn't get back for an hour after I did. DS didn't get given any milk, but hey it won't kill him to go with out for a day!

erm......not decided on time yet - suppose it will have to do with childcare arrangements - damn kids

although curry at lunch is a bit odd isnt it

hi custardo, would prefer lunchtime, as you say, makes it easier to get back if you are travelling some distance (this is my lesson learned from the london one i'm organising atm!). as for curry, i will eat it in a house, i will eat it with a mouse, i will eat it here or there, i will eat it anywhere etc etc may not be to everyone's taste at lunchtime though, i agree. i always think you can't go wrong with pasta/pizza...
